EZ...you have stepped out of your Blastard only realm...I'm sure the sith lords are not taking kindly to this...lol, J/K. How do you like the CR?? I rode an R at my local stealership that they had for sale, but preffered my XBS over it. How does the CR compare to the R (if you've ridden the R). In the end, all that matters is that were happy! |

Sure... that's how it starts. Seriously though, if it was me I would put a round headlight on it, bar end mirrors and some clip ons. Although that's coming from someone who can't leave ANYTHING alone. Will you continue your work on the XBBLAST? |

Of course - the Blasts are now my life long hobby. Starkiller is the daily rider, and Vader will be the XBBlast. Behold Insideous! (Black plastic to follow in a few weeks.)
See - their just like the movie Twins! EZ |

EZ: The new bike looks great, I bet you end up riding it more than the Blasts. I realize the 1125's are the least likely to be cubed but what made you trust Buell again? |

Yay for power! And some half-decent looks too Nice bike EZ, but even if you won't admit it, you know we're all right. There is no, I repeat, NO, way that you're going to leave that ride alone for long... |

LOL - really guys - except for the color, which gets changed out gratis in a few weeks to black, its fine as it is, and will only see weekend action, the Blasts will still do the majority of work, seriously. Trust Erik - dunno about that, don't have anything to trust him for, his bikes though are still my favorites, and the CR is already a EZ designed creation - stolen - thats obvious - lol EZ |

To answer an earlier question, the seating position was equal to Vaders, same foot position and bar position - very nice. EZ |

Thank's EZ. I really like the super low riding position and they were so easy to put on. They use a split clamp system so you don't need to take the front end apart. I'll post some better pics in the pic section tomorrow. |

"Andy's been Blasting for a bit now" According to his profile and what the dealer is advertising the mileage on his Blast, its only about 1000 miles! |

lol - actually I want to spend time exploring the east and northern roads, with cooler and more scenic areas - its always been much more of a hassle to get a Northern Californian to go to the even hotter south. So many great roads up here to explore, that is what I want to devote more time to - in other words - I just want to do some distance stuff back roads, scenic curves, coastal, etc - the cool stuff that makes riding fun. Doesn't mean I'll never go to SLO - heck I have a nice route mapped from here to there and back. But really there are so many good roads up here - heading east to Tahoe, or North to Redding - there are so many great roads I have yet to try! And old friends to visit;0) EZ |

Road trips like that - thats a long version of what my wife wants to do - they are still long rides though with 500 to 600 miles in a day or two. made to be fun and leisurely - lol EZ |

So, now that I have a bolt holding the head to the mount that doesn't break, the hole itself decides to self-destruct. Got my helicoil kit, will fix Tuesday or something. A note on the boot (Das Boot): I'm past 37K, and have not had one fail. I've replaced it once, not because it failed, but because it was old, and probably would fail soon. |
