Taking it to the next step. I am on a CityX, but want to swap out the stock fly screen and up date to the uktools alien with dual lights. I am keeping the stock CityX lights and might be moving to HIDs there to keep the draw down. How is the UK company to deal with? Do they have a local vendor on the board? And of course, is this something that will work ? Where is my dollar to pound conversion? I need the bright lights cuz I am running off the grid in the middle of the night at high rates of speed Riding on the dark side. Thanks for your help, no one on XB board seems to be running those Alien screens. |

The "Brymar Dominators" hook right up with existing connectors and wiring found in the original headlight bucket. Very simple. It also comes with 2 parking lights which would need wiring, but I dont see any reason you'd want to hook them up-they dont add extra light and would only be good as 'parking lights'. |

hey i just want to thorw this up here. i am using a hella conversion light that replaces the stock sealed beam. its mad of a beautiful glass housing and with awesome optics. i use a xenon bulb thats produces 100w/80w of light from a much lower draw. it runs circles around the stock sealed beam, and only costs fourty bucks. bought it from summit. |

I just got around to installing the above mentioned headlight and it fits without any issues. Fits exactly as the stock headlight, but now you can replace just the bulb with any watt or colour bulb you want |

My guess is yes. The bulb is close in size and the HID box goes on the outside of the headlight bucket. Thats what I've seen. I havent shopped for, or installed them though. |

Looked around for information on this in a couple places but couldn't seem to find anything here in the threads or in the manual. Hoping as you guys look to have done a good deal of investigating into headlights you might have answers. The metal ring that goes around the headlight is broken on my blast. Looking at the manual i believe it is the headlight bezel Y9005.T. I can't seem to find this part anywhere, anyone have any ideas? |

E-bay search and wait. Depending on how desperate you are, you might have to buy the whole headlight assembly. I waited a very long time, a year at minimum, for a new one to come up that was reasonably priced. They are EXTREMELY hard to find. Broken trim rings are common, as are bent Y-frames and bent fly screen brackets. I have not looked for a substitute. It's a common size headlight, so it's conceivable that something else would fit in its place. |

Interesting... it seems like the headlight setup is so similar to many other bikes I thought they would be easier to find. Looking at a voltage regulator on Buell Parts (found one for 40 bucks, might give it a shot) and they do have the headlight ring, but priced at like 94 bucks!!! That's crazy! |
