I'm about ready to let Erik cube my Blast. Died on the way to work last week. Started losing power, then when I stopped at a light, it died and hasn't started since. I've got spark, boot is good, disabled clutch/sidestand switches. Two weeks ago I was in the primary replacing detent and adjusting shift pawl. Wonder if I did something to screw up the stator while I was in there?? If the stator is bad, wouldn't the bike eventually die from not enough juice? 2 questions: If the battery is fully charged, will it start with a bad stator or bad regulator? Can I test the stator without it running? |

If negatives are good, then I would suspect battery or regulator, though the test in the manual is pretty easy for stator as well. So I of course would test for all. EZ |

Check the regulator - the 2 pins connectors see if there is any bleeding - should be 0 with key on. EZ |
