I saw hard bags on a Honda Rebel 250. Now, what I want to know is, where the heck are the hard bags for the Blast?! |

I'm not sure how to add a link yet, but, what kind of cowl/ fairing is this on the black bike and red bike? It is EZ's first post with blasters'pics. Thanks, http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/201 64/20274.jpg |

That's Tony's bike with a round Cafe Fairing - trimmed for clip-ons. That's when he was suffering in Hawaii - great shot of the turtle! EZ |

You would think that if they have a hard tail bag that fits that there has to be hard saddle bags out there somewhere, but I haven't found any yet. |

So the other day I am riding to work and notice that I'm doing 47mph on the highway and passing a bunch of cars. hmmmm that's odd my speedometer is waaaay off. I read about this happening to others in the Knowledge Vault and it went away when i rode home later that day. The strange this is that the tripometer was working fine. I know this because I checked it before I left my house (to see how much gas I had left) and it is a 33 mile ride to work. Wouldn't you know I left with 113 on the dial and it was 146.1 when I arrived. Weird that the speedometer was out of whack but the tripometer was working fine. Just thought I would share. |

When starting the Blast, ignition switch first, then key, then when needle rests on 0 then button start - if you start it before the needle settles on 0, things like that can happen - has happened to me as well. EZ |

Yea I realized that after I checked the Knowledge Vault. Just thought that it was interesting that the tripometer worked fine. |

Thumper62, I have the E30N, its great. You have to also get the Givi adjustable rack for it to sit on. As far as I know there aren't any hard side bags available for that mounting system. Cortech however has some nice soft stuff out there. |

If you can't even find the neutral light, I'd say something inside let loose completely. Time to crack the primary case! |

Thats what I'm thinking as well, which means drop the engine, and if I do that then when installation time comes, it will go into an XB Frame. EZ |

My neutral light has been out for weeks. To look inside the primary do I remove the clutch adjustment nut to look behind that plate? |

A couple weeks ago I needed a rear tire and had to get what was available, the Pirelli MT 75. I am starting to see a wear pattern. How thin are your 'chicken strips'? |

Its behind the front Sprocket nut - what size is that nut anyway - 1 3/4"? EZ |

Roy - on the MT75 I practically had no strips. EZ |

EZ- I don't remember the nut being that big. Its the clutch adjustment nut we are talking about, right? On the chicken strips I guess I need to push harder. |

No - the front pulley sprocket nut - need to know the size to buy the right socket - lol - its at least 1 3/4, but could be bigger? EZ |

Ahhh... My mistake, so to get inside the primary I need to remove the pulley sprocket nut? I am very mechanically inclined. I have the repair manual and the only reason I haven't dug into the internals is I don't really need the neutral light. I don't worry about tools because I disassemble huge newspaper printing equipment and do general heavy equipment rigging for a living. |

No - to get to the neutral switch you need to get behind the pulley. EZ |

No, Roysbuell your conversation is mixed up with EZ's....he is trying to get his front sprocket off to check his neutral switch. You dont need to pull the primary cover to get to the neutral switch, it is hidden halfway behind the front sprocket.. |

I also have a problem with my neutral light. Will I need to have a puller for the pulley or will taking the nut off be enough to take it off? |

The HD mech said it would be a 1 7/8" or 48mm socket - so I'll give it a shot tomorrow. EZ |
