My wife has a 2001 Blast. She is rather petite and the clutch on her bike causes pain in her wrist after only a half hour of riding. There is nothing wrong with the bike. The clutch feels normal to me, but it keeps her from riding much. I have looked at this Magura hydraulic clutch for the XB.

Does anyone know if this will work on her Blast? Has anyone installed a hydraulic clutch on their bike?

thanks

I just installed that kit on my Blast and it seems to work fine. I haven't refilled the primary or adjusted it yet, so I'll have to report back, but all the bits fit. ASBN also provides a bleeder kit to shorten the hose and bleed the line (which you'll need to do as it's way too long from the factory.) That's a minor pain but not terribly difficult.

Well made, and all the bits fit like they're supposed to.

Hardest part was getting the old clutch cable out of the clamp that's bolted to the lower tie bar on the engine. I ended up just cutting through the old cable with a pair of tin snips instead of taking everything apart.
