Maury, Scott is correct on the model of the bodywork. Good eye Scott. There has been some question on how I mounted it to the Blast, well if everyone doesn't mind I'll waite until I get on the salt. This isn't because it's a big secret as the mounts are fairly simple. The reason for the waite is because frankly I'm too damn tired getting the whole thing together to want at the present time to remove it to take any pics. Sometime while I'm on the salt I will have to tear it down and will try to get some pics then. The other question has related to the stability of the fairing and mounts, on this I'm not really sure but will find out fairly quickly on the first run. My feeling is it will be very stable but time will tell. Ray |

Here's a fair pic of the front mount Since I have the smallest of the TeamElves bikes I thought this was appropriate. Ray |

Latest updates on Vader and Maul - Vaders still a bit rich with the Dial A Jet, however, I'll keep at it! All Maul needs for now is a set of rearsets - (Pro Intakes on and left air scoop on to continue its job on the other side) - and she's set! - lol - always something;0) Got Thump?! hi here's an easy mod if you plan on riding this winter..it's a wind deflector for your hands..beats the windchill and avoids prolonged frostbite...(it will also protect your hands from stones, windburn etc...)they dont make it for the blast but I was able to mount it using a bracket from home depot and some other hardware( nuts, washers, bolts and locknuts) the deflector itself is made by national cycle, i ordered the one for the harley sportster, anyway, i just put one on my honda cruiser and it's the same size except for the mounting hardware that came with it, it mounts to your orig mirror mount. BTW those are rodhawk mirrors, which i like better than the oem..looks more sporty. edited by ezblast on February 24, 2004 |
