Yeah - Caveman was telling me that long ago - no mention of it in the manual, and the manual specks are a bit off as well. He mentioned. EZ |

Having a very hard headed wife for 18 years has toned down my OCD to a degree, but I still find myself spending 3 hours getting a 20 minute job just right sometimes. My Blast bled on me yesterday, so I have to find out what's the deal. Little tiny oil spots on my right leg. I was at Winchester HD/Buell yesterday. Someone on an XB wanted to take pictures of my Blast. I got a Virginia inspection, and for the first time, I heard my Blast without being on it. I must say it sounds vicious with that Cherry Bomb! It was about 3 db too loud to pass inspection in Delaware, and they didn't like the missing belt guard either. Virginia is easy, so it'll have a VA plate soon. Enough rambling. |

Great (SLO) slide show Ed. Kind of feel like I've been there. The Inn looked real cool - did ya'll stay there or just eat? I like those old west kind of places. BTW - I hope ya'll are staying safe from the smoke and fire. We had a small fire break out a little too close for my comfort on Friday, but even with the fires we've had nothing comes close to what is going on out there. My prayers to keep everyone safe. Rainman - ever been to the Buddhist Biker Bar and Grill? |

Riding Into History, one of America's premier vintage motorcycle events, will return to the Renaissance at World Golf Village near St. Augustine, Florida on May 16, 2009. The event will feature Charity Rides, a Concours d'Elegance, the Biker's Ball, etc. Not to mention an awesome showing of classic bikes. We just like to see all the vintage bikes - by time the deep pockets hit the classy biker ball, we'll be watching the horse race across the street at the Comfort Suites at World Golf Resort then hitting the hot tub. Just an FYI for anyone who might want to see some cool bikes. The rates at the Comfort Inn are not bad. As usual, I have my own riding agenda, but if anyone makes it there, will see you then... |

It was a great job, and I wanted to immortalize it for a bit - and besides the new software was free on the net to turn DVD format into mpg4 - so I figured I had nothing to loose - not bad at all - I could turn the other short films into longer, but they would have no sequencing and no cool music - ahh well - the disc you sent was still awesome - Scott's going to love his - thank you again. Anyone in Michigan going to the Baldwin Blessing of the Bikes: Feel free to stop at our cabin for free food, drinks, tools, bathrooms, etc. We are approx 1 mi east of M-37 on 68th ave, which is just south of the airport. Swampy? |

Rainman - ever been to the Buddhist Biker Bar and Grill? Sure have! When it first opened a bunch of Harley guys -- the kind that don't have a "lifestyle" but a way of life -- and I (on my old Sportster) showed up after a long ride to Roanoke and back. Turned out it was more of a nice restaurant than any kind of biker bar! Kinda messed up the waiter's mind, though. Great food! |

Buellboy492, sorry, I'm gonna miss it again this year! I am entertaining at my girlfriends house this weekend, fishing with a 6 year old girl! What fun, $250 in fishing gear and I don't even have my license yet....LOL. Rainman, are you coming to Michigan again this year? I am living in SW Lansing, so if you need to work on your bike or need a place to stay I have plenty of room now. |

I'll be coming up in July. Not sure if I'll be in the cage or on the bike, but we'll take at least one or two rides with dad, my brother and his wife and kid. I'll buzz you when I know more. |

Hey guys, it's good to read that everyone is still blastin along ok I'm assuming that if I had the chance to buy a near mint condition Kerker for $60+shipping that would be a good price and very fair deal? I forgot what the makeshift Force was...I know it's a combination of a Kerker and a Jardine, I just cant remember which header and which can. Thanks all, and take it easy. |

Make shift would be D&D can and Jardine header - don't bother with the Kerker. EZ |

LoL, I thought it sounded funny but for some reason I thought it was the Kerker. Ugh, I am tired today and have had to deal with too many stupid people at work. So the Kerker wouldnt even be a good back-up pipe? It's only 60 bucks and I have already sort of smooshed my BUB (jumping too high...lol) so I was initially thinking backup. As usual, thanks a million for the input! |

Hello ya'll - installed D&D exhaust today and the rear of the pipe comes to within 1/4 inch from tire and half that when down on kick-stand. Since all I have ever used is the V&H, I'm not sure if this is correct, just looks a little close to me.... BTW - tire is Avon 120/80 - 16 A little pic - I'd be grateful for any comments. Thanks, Mags

It should traverse to the other side of the tire at the end - if it looks close - perhaps your exhaust is not all the way on - could it mount further in? EZ |

You are right, it's a bad picture to show what is going on. The tail end of the pipe is coming out at the left side of tire (as your sitting on the bike). It can't go further in since the Header is keeping that from happening. I guess the tire could not become contacted by the exhaust, because the axcel prevents it from moving forward. When I sit on the bike, there is more room from the compression of the shock. I was just concerned at how close it is in relation to the rubber and thought I should check with someone that has experience with this pipe. D&D could have done better by including a pic in their directions, and I did not see anything on their website, but I guess that is asking too much. I test it out on the trip to St. Augustine this weekend. Thanks for getting back with me so quickly. |
