http://specii.com/index2.html These are probably the best and most trick and cost the same as many other choices - there are a lot of choices out there! The ones that I recommend though are adjustable 4 different ways - including height - if you buy the spacers - I doubled up on the small ones - it put me to half superbike height - perfect for me - I ride them up most the time but have put them down upon occasion - and they are adjusted to my comfort angles for the longer rides. The D&D is a classic deep sound - very nice and a bit quieter than the Bub or Force but louder than the Pro series - about as loud as the V&H but deeper - lol Got Thump?! I just had a talk with D&D and the above shout is partially about that - hopefully Scott can help, but I can use everyone elses as well - D&D says they would be more than happy to make their headers in the 1 3/4" id for the Blast - the catch is people would have to email in showing interest in such a thing - Now I've always said D&D makes one of the nicest, durable products out there and now they have taken a step forward and are willing to meet us half way - I was told if I could get about 15 Blastards to email them saying that - "I would like to request that you make a Blast exhaust - such as you make now except with a 1 3/4" ID header size so that the exhaust would then not restrict my motor's other performance modifications." Email them at: danddexhaust@msn.com I could use your help here folks - this would help all the potential Blastards that get serious about hi performance upgrades, yet still have to either suffer with either inferior build (Force or WB)or inferior performance due to restrictive header diameter (most of the rest). A quick Email with the the quoted sentence in it would be all that we would need - with about 15 to 20 emails needed. This in the end would benefit current and future Blastards - so I'm asking ya - send an Email please and lets get the ball rolling! Thanks everyone! Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! Gone - your rendition of the XB is still the coolest I've seen! You can order them on line at that site I posted - you'll find the price there as well - just have to scroll down a bit - If you send an email to D&D - as I sugested - for them to produce a hipo version - then I would also call them and order it - I'm pretty sure my letter campaign is working (thanks Scott, and the rest - keep sending those emails - its working!) - and in any case of all the exhausts "currently" (operative word - lol) available I would recomend the D&D or the Bub. I also got hold of Scott Berry - nice guy, and he said he'd bring it up once again to his buddies at D&D! Come on folks - send in those Emails - where almost to the promised land! - Imagine - Force like power with D&D reliability! Woo Woo! Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! EZ |

Specii.com - Tel. : (818) 837-1313 Just tell them that you want the 37MM clip ons - your choice of Black or chrome, I used two 5/8" spacers on each side - but they now have different sizes - 5/8" & 1 1/4" - so it would depend how high you want to go with max height being 2 1/2" - two 1 1/4" spacers on each side - roughly equal to XBS/superbike handlebar height. Everything switches over - no problem - you'll need new grips - I recommend the Buell Traction grips found at American Sport Bike for the Blast. I've always tried to go straight to the mfgr. vendor usually when I order something, and in this case I would suggest waiting a week after you have sent that D&D email of course and then call them with an order for a HIPO Blast exhaust - (817) 834 - 8961. Blast Exhausts go from 150 for a V&H to almost 400 for the Force (if you can find one) - the D&D sits in the upper middle range - almost 300. Gonen60's XB S ergos and tail with R bars and Fairing - totally sweet! Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! EZ |

FWIW, I called Spec II earlier today (they're local for me) and they claimed that not only are they out of 37mm Telefix Profis but that they believe Telefix isn't making 'em anymore. I'm not stating those things as facts but merely passing on what I heard. -Saro |

LOL - Wild Hair also caries them, but I'll cut out the middle man and find out - 37mm is still a popular size in europe - can't believe they would discontinue that size - The link below would take you to the Tomeselli version - totally adjustable, however, no height adjustment - lol - http://www.cosmotor.com/level_01_classicparts.htm Very nice units also. Seriously - the list even at the specii site shows a long list of bikes that use 37mm - go figure - like I said - I'll check it out. Thanks though Saro - its always good to be current - I got mine a while back when I first researched the subject - so of course I haven't checked in in a bit - lol Got Thump?! I talked with Specii2.com last nite - there was a slight communication error there - the Telefix Profis are alive and well - being a small German company (with an active website in German) - they fullfilled the lots ordered by our wholesalers and are now working on a contract with HD, when they are done in a few months they will accept more orders from wholesalers. As is Wild Hair has some and Specii2 has 3 sets in the 37mm side still available, and StreetfighterUSA says they can find them for you if you don't mind a waite. Whew!...had me worried there - I'm still planning on picking up a set for the Red bike some day! Hey guys - D&D needs a few more Emails - how about it - wouldn't you want a reliable performance exhaust, I know I do, so lets send in those Emails folks and thank you again to all who already have! OK guys - I just talked with D&D - they said all we need is a few more Emails to make the Dream of a reliable performance exhaust a reality! So how about it - email them saying that - "I would like to request that you make a Blast exhaust - such as you make now except with a 1 3/4" ID header size so that the exhaust would then not restrict my motor's other performance modifications." Email them at: danddexhaust@msn.com - Thanks guys - we need only a few more to make this a reality, and it would only take a few minutes of time to do the email...since I brought the topic up to them they have been researching the Blast and are very impressed with the performance we've got out of them. So close guys... Got Thump?! Just Blasting on the Dark side! EZ

Picked me up another Blast yesterday. We're once again a 2 Blast family. This one's mechanically stock and kinda thrashed upon. Our Blast with 4 times the mileage looks SO much happier. On the plus side, it didn't seem to use any oil on the 200 mile trip home. Anyone have any dealings with Dudley Perkins WRT how they treat Blasts? -Saro |

This last year they have become a lot better at it - servicing Blasts - their 'new' Buell tech is an old Elf - knows his shit - the things they won't do with a Blast service that they do for any of the other bikes is offer you a loaner while they work on your bike, and they usually forget to detail it unless you bitch at them, they are good about fixing stuff and working on modified bikes - they are the most expensive dealership you will walk into - period - their service mngr.- Irish - a real nice guy always makes sure your happy with your bike and the work done, the parts guys are sharp, and I've trained them pretty well to respect Blasts - so its mixed - early treatment sucked, later treatment has been very good. Ole DP has always adapted to their customer base and are getting very Buell friendly - because people are buying them even at their wild ass prices - lol - their new Buell mech. knows what he is doing, the old guy - literally - was just by the book and could care less and actually put scratches on my frame - ass hole - reason I painted it - Got Thump?! D&D UPDATE! I was just contacted by D&D in Fort Worth - Texas - they would be willing to produce a performance exhaust for the Blast, however, they would like a volunteer to test run said exhaust - this would mean they would have to have the bike for a week or two to do dyno runs and dial in a before and after (they said they would prefer an already modified Blast but at this point any would do) - so any Blastards in the Fort Worth area contact them - there would probably be an exhaust in the deal for the selected individual's bike, A chance of a life time for some lucky Texan to have one of the first reliable performance exhausts that D&D would produce for the Blast. You can contact them: http://www.danddexhaust.com/index.htm here. So the wheels are in motion - its all up to you Texas - make us proud! - lol (note: the reason I'm doing this is because at this point the Bub - a great drag pipe - is the only performance exhaust out there, WB & Force have stopped manufacture due to reliability issues, and the rest of the Blast aftermarket exhausts headers are too restrictive to deliver any serious power to a modified Blast - meaning even something as simple as a cam change out - even Buell gave the nod that the 1 3/4" id number was good since that is the last step up on their Pro header. D&D is known for a trouble free exhaust and a top performer of all the rest compared to V&H, Pro Series, & Kerker. So the quest is to have them up their header size just a tad;0)). Got Thump?!
