Swampy - Gotta love the midwest! I'm really sorry to hear that man, that sucks! DreadHead - Yes, IT WILL FIT!! HAHA!!The only reason I know that is because I saw a pic of one of these frames/rolling chassis with a v-twin in it. I'm starting to like this project more and more... |

I really like the Redneck Engineering Blast kit...if I was gonna build a custom that would be it...and it keeps the rear suspension intact...important stuff when you actually plan to ride the bike. |

I like that kit to..and the fact that they are less than 3hrs away from me in my own state is awesome.. But the fact that the kit is almost twice as much as i paid for my bike scares me! |

I'd go and talk a little treason with them and see if you can get some stuff discounted, etc - especially since shipping wouldn't be necessary - you can just pick it up! EZ |

Im not sure i like it..im going to have to figure out a new taillight and license plate.. I thought about maybe buying one of those license plates that have the brake light built in.. That was a spare tailpiece so i havent done anything not reversable

Well done. Your seat and the chopped back really complement each other. I can see a really nice line from the grey stripe through the back pegs to the rear tire gap. Cut those rear pegs at the angle coming from the back of the front belt guard a la TK Blast style and it would connect nicely with the seat stripe. Or some rear sets would pull it all together too. That is the FM250E-B. Doesn't seem to have an English name. Was searching for fairing kits and ended up at a Chinese supply site. http://www.made-in-china.com/showroom/fribestgroup /product-detailFoBnQzSKbUVm/China-250cc-150CC-125C C-Motorcycle-FM250E-B-.html It looks like a BMW style knock off. It weighs 150 pounds and tops out at 80mph. 110/70-16; 140/70-16 are the stock tire sizes. |

150 Kilograms or about 330lbs. I thought 150 pounds was too light! |

To tell the truth, I actually found that picture a few weeks ago and was terrified to post it here for fear of being accused of Blast-phemey. Glad everyone seems to enjoy it. What I think is so funny is that it doesn't look like he's going to make it! That front wheel is coming down!!! |

Is that the same guy that was down the street from the Harley 105th at the Buell dealer doing jumps? I thought I saw a special on the 105th on Discovery or Speed, and that guys suit looks really familiar. |

I wonder what mods he has done to the blast to make it less prone to wheelie damage to isolators, etc. |

(Read: "If front wheel comes up, DO NOT SLAM ON THE REAR BRAKE.") How about keeping that ultra rare pro-series exhaust from getting the beat-crap out of it??? I hopped a curb once to avoid a traffic jam (isn't that why we all ride?) and the metal on concrete sound on the downward side was spine-tingling. There is also the issue of the 12-o-clock bar that has been installed... How many cc's does it take to back-flip a Blast??? (Cause I think I want about 100 more ) |

Except for the exhaust and a bit of body work the motor is stock - knowing how to do stuff like that - impressive. EZ |
