looks like a gold mine! you've got a lifetime supply of wear & tear replacement parts (well, almost - starter, cables, primary chain, sprockets, ignition module), a spare carb to experiment with, a spare engine, and the swan-shaped stand makes it easier to work on. hey, I bet it would be fun to put in a go-kart! |

I like it! Really glad it has a piston. Pm me an idea of what I/we need to chip in for patches or decals. Not so sure I'll get the tattoo though. |

By mounting the M2 front end and fitting M2 swing arm extenders on to the Blast swing arm - using the m2 chain conversion kit and your set - though there they matched out the distance so the M2 belt would work. The person saying they are Ninja 250 pieces is in-correct, the disc and belt say differently. EZ |

I stand corrected - the other parts are M2 - the wheels, forks, and tires are Ninja 250 pieces - interesting - if we had known that from the beginning the fork-brace research would have been easier - lol - no biggie. EZ |

Some people read, and comment off line - guess I'm popular - lol - it is a pretty cool patch idea though!
A sticker that size would look great on the wind fly screen - even the aftermarket ones. EZ |

Ed I'd be interested in a decal, maybe several decals. Any thought of making these in different colors? Like red or yellow? Chuck |

I like the first design better. Colors and lines are more vivid and I like the Old text. I too would be interested in Patches and Vinyl stickers. |

Ok, I've been looking through the treads but i cant find anything bout the M2 stuff on the blast. Is that a way to make the blast have 17 inch tires? I like to hear as much as i can on what has been done or can be done to the blast so I can take ideas and tweak them. Thanks in advance. |

Do a Badweb search for '17" wheels'. Thumper forum only and you'll pull up many threads discussing it. It's been done, but its not just a simple wheel swap. |

Another note about the Ninja 250...It seems that the Ninja 250 now has 17" wheels, so that increases the possibility of cheap salvage/e-bay and aftermarket wheels that could be fitted to the Blast (with modification). Not that this is the only option, but given the popularity of the 250 and start-up 250 racing classes it could be a cheap option for those wanting to switch to 17's. Not that I'm a fan of putting Kawi parts on a Blast though... |
