Thought some of you would want to loot into this. Around 80 here today...but we have a strong cold front moving in...supposed to rain a lot tomorrow with strong storms..and then mid 60's and clear in the afternoons for the weekend. Welcome to the sickie club Swampy...I just got back from the doctor with an armload of prescriptions...everybody at work has been sick...and three people have relapsed...some pretty serious respiratory crap...if I can just get some sleep tonight without waking up choking in a pool of sweat...it will be great. | ||

i have the givi wingrack top rack with turnsignals and a universal mount kit. the box comes with a mounting plate i just liked the givi setup better. ebay has a mount kit for blasts now. that came out after i got the wing racks or i would have just bought it instead... I have 3 peeps looking into buying my blast now so may never get around to getting the bags installed. | ||

im at work, will check when i get home. but there was a guy selling givi mounting kits for blasts for $150. do a serch for buell blast and it may come up if hes still selling em. the trunk comes with a mounting plate, but you would need to make a frame to mount it on the bike unless you wanted to drill through the tail and into the bikes frame. there was a pic of someone doing that on this site somewhere. | ||

A couple different styles on eBay. Type "Blast Givi" in the search. These look like they use the 4 eyelets under the seat as mounting locations. | ||

Half the people in Florida right now have the crud  We have electronic air filtration and ultraviolet lights on the a/c systems at work...but most viruses are spread by contact...phones, computer, paperwork, bathroom fixtures, etc. Three of the people here are on their second bout with this mess...i went to the doc yesterday...two shots, three scrips, and advisory to skip work and rest...i cant skip work...it cost too much for medical and meds LOL. | ||

I probably wont get my license back until after Christmas but at least I wont be spending Christmas in New Jersey (or Rikers-not yet anyway-you never know about NJ DMV or the court system). I just bought the large JCWhitney case (ZXE277022). Unfortunately, the price did not magically reduce from $85 to $47. Thought it might be a credit card deal, so I tried AMEX and MC, but neither resulted in the magical reduction. Oh, well. | ||

Craigs list - Sacramento has a Blast for 650 - on it - replace dentent plate,clip, tap in drum pins and have a perfectly good bike - says he's loosing 3rd on up - which translated means if you do the things I just mentioned - its fixed - in all probability - don't matter he's has an extra tranny as well he is throwing in - I offered 350 for the motor, he came back with 550 for everything - but tis the season to be broke - don't have that now, in January I would - lol - but heres the link - thank you Thomas for the heads up! http://sacramento.craigslist.org/mcy/948542803.htm l EZ |
