Part# N0037.18ATCZT (could be: # N0037.1ATCZT) $139.80 black clubmans Couple of questions before I order them: 1. Will I need to do any mods to the cable lengths to get them to fit or should they pretty much bolt right up? 2. What about the switch housing as well? I am hoping to just do a straight out replacement without too much work. (not that I am against work per se, just not very mechanically inclined) Thanks for the help (Message edited by ezblast on September 30, 2008) |

It should be a straight out replacement (possibly even down to the switch housing 'nubs'). The 'clubman' bars arent any longer than the stock bars (just in a different direction), so all the cables should be fine. You'll just need to pay attention to where they get routed though. I'm sure many will be excited to see pictures of them on your bike and if they truly dont have any clearance issues. |

Thanks for the response Gearheaderiko. As I was looking at them I began to wonder if I could put the bar end mirrors on them. |

I really have no idea. They do have plugs in the end, indicating the bars are hollow, but how big that hole is I dont know (I dont know if they are steel or aluminum, which can make a difference). |

They are aluminum by looks of the weld. The mirrors that come stock are wired for signals. So if those are plugs on the end they should just pop out. I assume that they will fit mirrors on the end if they bolt right up. |

Didn't check on the mirrors but I did order the bars. Eta is friday so I hope to have pics up fri. night/sat. morning. Here is a frontal of the mirrors with integrated signals:
I'm trying to go with a naked/minimilist look and those may or may not fit the bill for me. |

Thump - definitely new age minimalist - lol http://www.vintagecosmo.com/store/product_info.php ?products_id=171&osCsid=d40c645f5021fe14c28d540962 03b10d Now here's a trick set of clip-ons and at a really good price! What they say: THE ORIGINAL 3 way TOMMASELLI NEW PRODUCT!! For 37mm tubes. Nobody sells Tommaselli at a better price than Vintage Cosmo! Nobody, nobody and nobody. This is new stuff. Art.# 0144.41 37.06 .Tommie 3 way double jointed adjustable clip/ons. The bar is for standard 7/8th inch 22mm stuff. The overall length from the end of the black nylon end cap to the outside edge of the elbow is just over 10 6/8th's inches or 275mm. The actual space you get for perch and throttle on the bar is just over 8 3/4 inches or 223mm of aluminum. The offset here, "center of clamp to center of bar” is 45mm. The width of this clamp is 30mm. That's 30mm of tube your gona need to hang it NOT the diameter of the tube. All aluminum sept for the hex head steel bolt and the 2 small hex head pinch boltz. New product from the Motherland. EZ |

Nice, thanks for the parts # correction. I was just quoted $78.00 for EACH mirror. But different parts numbers. Mine were: N0162.1ATA (Right) N0161.1ATA (Left) I like your prices better! Yeah, I guess you could call it neo-minimalist! I'm wanting to black out everything that I can. Powder coated wheels etc. I will post pictures after I get the new bars and grips on. |

No - yours are correct - Chicago HD quoted me wrong - thats why I deleted the post - however, thats still a good price for the mirrors - simple CRG's cost that much and don't have any signal - and those look a lot sturdier than the Duc mirrors. Damn - I didn't think those bars would be so much - shoot - defeats my whole philosophy - of inexpensive breakables in a drop situation, but I could step up to the mirrors because by the time you price signals and then mirrors - your usually looking at more - EZ |

They are the only black anodized aluminum clubman's I could find. A pretty sweet looking combo if you ask me. Ok I wasn't really looking for black or aluminum because they just aren't out there. I just knew when I saw them that they were the bars for my bike. BTW those Tommaselli's are sick and would be a close runner up. Only if they came in black! |

I come up with pt# N0161.1AM & N0161.1AMC for left and N0162.1AM & N0162.1AMC for right. Those other numbers wouldnt come up I'd probably want to check on the 1125 board to see if there is a problematic difference between the two. |

Those numbers dont come up on Surdyke or Chicago HD. Where are you getting/verifying those numbers from? (Obviously the number is correct until the suffix ATA) |

Well I went over to the 1125 board and asked - I'll ask for verification now - I think the mirrors are the hot ticket and if the bars lock, they also will be a hot ticket. EZ |

The bars are 1" across the middle, and 7/8 on the ends. So they will not fit without some mods or not at all. Not sure if there is enough room b/t the screw holes to widen for the placement. I am off to the in-laws for the weekend. I'm open to any suggestions... |

They make risers to convert 'dirt bike' handlebars to 1". There seem to be a variety available and some normal risers fit the Blast, so a pair to adapt is plausible. |

Picked up some risers at a local shop for about $50. A bit cheaper than what I was able to find online. When I put the bar in the risers there seems to be a little gap b/t the bottom and the top part of the riser itself. I assume this is normal as the stock ones have about the same gap. There are 'thread' marks on the bars or inside the risers so I plan to use a little Lock-tite so they won't move on me. Will be putting them on tomorrow along with the new grips. |

FWIW: The superbike bars can also be flipped over into a clip-on style (or Laverda style) location, if in the future you want a more aggressive riding position. |
