OK, how about a Thumper ride, after snomobiling gets done in 2004 starting in Mt Pleasant, MI at the casino to say Manistee, to a few of the favorite lakeside roads 110, 22,109, Sleeping Bear Dunes, north to say Leelenau. Then back down M37 down the big hill in Mesick around the lake in Cadillac then to Weidman(To check out the new Township Marshall) and back to Mt Pleasant? Open for suggestions. | ||

Awesome, sounds like a great ride right through and around my stomping grounds. Got room for a Sportster rider or two...? (Unless I get my blast, which I'm hoping I'll have by Spring). | ||

I ride a sporty myself, I have 2 Blasts, one my big kid rides and one I would be willing to part with because it is really an extra. I was planning on riding it myself this year just to put some miles on it. I live north of Lansing. The more riders the safer. | ||

Cool. What can you tell me about your "extra" Blast, and what would you have to have for it? ...and is it Spring yet? | ||

I bought it for my wife, but she did a little highside on Blast no. 1(The one we are using). Blast no 2 is a 2001, red with 800 or so miles. I put larger carb jets in it, it ran good for the few miles I put on it. Price? I hadn't thought about it. $2250? | ||

That's a very good price, but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to buy until Spring when we get rid of this danged extra Vette we got parked next to our already full garage. I am looking for a red or Yellow Blast, so yours would work out well. If you don't sell it by Spring, keep me in mind, okay? | ||

OK, heres the ride....I am leaving Monday August 2, to Manistee following the lake to the bridge, overnight at St Ignace. August 3rd to Iron MT. local. 4th to Keweenaw to Copper Harbor and back to Iron Mt or Marquette? 5th return. Anybody up for it? I'll be riding the sporty(70 miles between fill ups) and the Big Kid will be riding the Blast. | ||

Yup! I am going to White Cloud, MI on May 14, hopefully it won't snow. My daughters inlaws gave me the official invite to the 3rd Annual Food Fling, and Clue Run, car truck and bike show, and it coincides with the blessing of the bikes in Baldwin on the 15th. Other than that, just for pure riding multiple days, I don't have any definite plans...yet. | ||

Hey there Michigan Blasters. I see that these posts are a couple of years old. But I would be interested in some rides in Central Michigan. I have taken a couple of rides from my home in Howell to visit my daughter at school in Saginaw but that is a pretty boring ride.
