EZ, offhand do you know what all was done to that red one ^ up der?? I will be getting some excess cash sometime hopefully soon, and with the onset of winter coming I will have plenty of time for work. Other than the Baker6 (which I have wanted for a while anyways ) what can/should I buy? Is it a 600 or bigger? Cams, ect... |

600cc kit, lightened and balanced crank ala Brian Nallin, Bullet proof stage 3 heads running a custom 730 profile cam designed by BN for the Salt - Terry has always recommended going 580 max for the street if you want it to last, a thought would be the stock XB550 cam with the 1.75 lifters bringing you to 585 zone with a very smooth delivery - His own custom map in the SE ignition that revs to 8000rpms red line, though I think he's down to 7500rpms with the new 720cc motor, he was running 11.5 comp - I think only 10.5 would be wise for the street, Mikuni HSR42 carb, there the proseries, however on his last recordsetting ride he was running an adapted version of the stack I used - using a carb intake adapter plate to make it work - I have his motorcycle header hooked to a can - loud and proud by itself - when Erik road it - it was running the 620/580 dual profile cam - Custom chain drive - Terry did his own - He really tried to bullet proof it knowing he was planning more than one set of runs at the Salts.
However, smooth simplicity - the essence of motorcycling can naturally be distilled from the Blast as well. EZ (Message edited by ezblast on August 28, 2008) |

I call this "Blast in the Nude."
For the sake of keeping the BadWeB a family friendly place, I chose to omit "Danno in the Nude and an Oak Tree." That followed shortly after this pic was taken. Long story short, this is all there is to replacing a rockerbox gasket. Easy huh?! I'll post a close up as soon as I get it resized. |

Got Head???
It's always easier to get the sizes right the second time. Sorry about the terribly poor pic quality, resized using MS Paint (I can't for the life of me figure out the program recommended.) and the original was taken with my wife's cell phone, at the last minute, much to her objection. |

Otherwise they are lop-sided? -
The real deal 650cc - the motor that Terry P. set serious records with - to have that with a milder cam, and timed for the street - Drool - Force like header - throw a small 4" Suppertrapp on - run the 12+11 disc set up due to small can size - secure - now that would be wildly fun - hmmmmmmmmmm - torque!!!!!!! People asked in the main section as well - the first time I went down was because I trusted a dealership to check the air in my tires when I brought it in for service - they didn't and I went down on the road at 21lbs of air - got to the station, put air in them and it was the last service DP did - I can kill myself easy enough with out their help - so many issues I had with DP - still had them doing warrantee work though. Get better, heal and get ready to ride. EZ |

First up a couple of pictures of a shop bike, Pacific Coast, the Little Kids Blast is under the blue tarp due to the camoflauge project he had going on with the kayak he just got for duck hunting. The big garage houses the pickup with a bunch of furniture in the back, and it raining today(due to the hurricane that is dissapating) the painting had to be done inside to keep the furniture dry.
Speaking of the kayak work, the Little Kid used his Geo Metro Convertible to go pick it up.....he was only stopped twice on the way home by the police.
In the background is the Big Kids Ford Tempo, we bought it for $500, it was rearended and we got a thing called a Mini-torte which is if you have no collision coverage and the other party in the accident was more than 50% at fault you get $500 from the other person. I got a call yesterday from the Big Kid at work that a brake line had failed and he needed me to come fix it, I clamped the line off with vice grips filled it up and brought it home. Now the problem is there is nothing right about this car so we will run it to the junk yard after we take it deer hunting tomorrow whick will involve bombing around the back roads seeing how many deer we can run over...Woo Hooo! Big fun in Hickabillyville! |

I haven't seen a Pacific Coast around in a long time! They were kind of neat bikes-had to go to eBay to get an idea of how many are still around. |

Well, tonight I can't post a picture of the shop bike! It never made it home, I got a call from the Big Kid that the CBR900RR shop bike puked its guts all over the highway on a parts run today! He was real scared he was going to get fired, I told him if he had it over the weekend and was racing it at Grattan, maybe, but he was on a parts run. Anyhow I got to see him tonight when the Little Kid and I got fitted for a tux. |
