250 is cheap - for something so easy to modify - especially considering what is needed to make your selection work - lol - I sure want to see it though - those do look slick - especially in black. EZ |

I should just buy a set for the Sportster and then see how they fit on the Blast. |

Works and Ohlins and Hagon (the least expensive of the three - half price - lol -)all have ready to mount pieces for the Sportster that will definately increase the fun factor as well - forks are actually pretty easy to dial in when you collect the right parts - Your sporster could then have a nice set of Laverda/Jota bars to finish off the look of American cafe - no fairing used - a clasic look - very stylish with clubman barend mirrors as well. I see only adapting the break side plate as a hassle - otherwise they look like they could be an old fashioned Banke S 1 style - a classy set up in Black - EZ |

I'm all sad and stuff now... I don't have a sportster... I love my blast, not a huge harley fan, they ride like boats! But yeah, I was pondering the cafe styling for my thumper, just a LOT of custom work I would have to do! |

Wait, instantly happy again... Remembered that I work in an aircraft maintenance facility where I get paid to play with stuff like that all day!! As soon as we get our shops set up again I have full access to all the sheet metal, welders, and other fun toys to make my thumper a bamf! |

Finally put my new idea for LEDs into reality. All I had was orange LEDs, so I'm thinking that if I put this on the front I may get pulled over, but then again, I ran with amber running lights on the rear for quite some time without incident.
This bottom shot hurts my eyes! "Warning! Looking directly at white LEDs can cause retinal damage!" (Message edited by reuel on September 17, 2008) |

Looking for some feedback from anyone who's had experience with these 3 models (as he waits for EZ to chime in). The Demon model has integrated signals, but only 25w per headlamp. The others run a 55w headlamp, but no integrated signals. Open to opinions as well as hard facts. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=190246601532 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=330272403293 http://www.flyncycle.com/acatalog/Demon_lights.htm l |

Bzbuell, The Flyncycle Raptors were Junk. Easy to put on but the lights were not DOT. Cheap chinese shit, melted sockets, and you can't ride at night with them. Be real careful what you buy. The 55 watt is what you want, as using 25 watt you won't be able to use it after dark. |

The first ebay is flyncycle, it says in the description, "Not DOT Approved" I bought a couple from Flyncycle and got jacked for about $40 The second one says "DOT Approved" If you have to get one, that is the only one to get. |
