You can get them from the dealer new. Check the sponsors here. Most of them'll give you a discount if you mention BadWeb. Ebay is another option. Oh--congratulations on your purchase! I have a 2001 that I got new. How many miles are on it? (Message edited by reuel on July 28, 2008) |

Welcome G S ebay is your cheapest option especially if you dont want brand spanking new and perfect. Black is the most popular colour, so you'll pay more for it. Also put an add in the Blast Badweb wanted classifieds. Someone may trade you Black for yellow. Several years back I would have! |

I'm guessing more than $200, but probably not much more than $300 for a whole set. |

Ok, I must have been thinking about just the tank cover. It's been quite a few years since I even looked. I'm really tempted to get white panels! Heck, I might even get the flyscreen and put the windshield away until winter. Trouble is, I already spent the insurance money. (Message edited by reuel on July 30, 2008) |

Painted plastics probably wont look as good as used plastics (IMHO). What color do you want? However, if your friend is painting them for free, it wont matter! |

At work, so can't spend too much time searching. I may have to park my bike in the rain. I do not have a cover, and hope not to have to lug one around. Anything I need to worry about, regarding controls, etc. if bike is parked in the rain for any significant amount of time? |

No. Your bike will be fine and by significant you mean all day, not for days? Just be careful of the brakes when you start riding, they may not stop you at first. |

Just found out the 1125cr (Cafe Racer!!!) had aluminum clubman style bars. What are the chances of getting those to fit on a Blast?
I know it's probably not likely, but one can dream... |

I just bought a 2000 Buell Blast a couple of weeks ago. I don't take the RE class until the 20th so I have not ridding this bike hardly at all. But in reading the manual and playing around with everything I can while the bike is stationary I noticed that the high beam flasher trigger on the back side of the left grip doesn't do anything in any key position, including when the bike is running and in gear. Lamps switched high or low. If I pull the switch out a bit I can see a spring behind it, but that's it. Is there a trick to this switch I'm not finding? If it's broke is there any repair tips? Thanks! |

Thump - a 100% chance they will fit and not only fit but lock as well! EZ |

Betty - mine has never worked on the 1 bike and I never use the other - you'd have to replace the switch & housing part if you want a working one. EZ |

Dont worry about the flasher switch. You'll almost never have a really good reason to use it and you can use the high/low beam switch instead if you do. |

Hey, those bars might even have the holes in them for the switch housing nubs! The non-clubman bars are $83. (Message edited by gearheaderiko on August 12, 2008) |

So the clubmans would probably be in that range as well - might as well get another set of jota/Laverda and cut them down an 1 1/2" on each side - ah well. EZ |

I will try to find out how much they are, but it may take a while as that is a '09 model and I am not familiar enough with the industry to know when they start selling parts. Regardless I am hoping they are cheaper than the other Clubmans (around $250?) and easier to install. Do you think I would have to do any mods? I am hoping that since it is Buell it will be easy to install. We all know easy is relative I am not shall we say 'mechanically inclined by any stretch of the imagination. |

The other Clubmans won't lock side to side - that is what makes these and the Jota/Laverda special. EZ |
