Trust me, I was trying to avoid another lube topic. I own an XB9R, and the wife rides a Blast. I just finished replacing the primary fluid on the 9R, easy job right out of the owner's manual. The Blast manual doesn't cover the procedure, just says to take it to the shop. My question is, what is the fill mark to look for in the casing and the amount of fluid to put in? Any other problems or headaches I should be aware of, outside of the drain running all over the stock muffler? Any help would be appreciated. Blackhat |

Blackhat--Check out the thread in the Thumper Knowledge Vault (just scroll down the page) titled Blast Specifics. Then click on "Fluid Changes". It should answer any questions you have on the subject (and maybe a few questions you didn't know you had! lol..) Scott |
