I have noticed most of the helmets are $170 or higher at the Buell shop. Is this a pretty standard price, or should I look elsewhere? Looking for a comfortable full face helmet. |

Check on the internet. I got my son a Scorpion which is both DOT and Schnell Foundation approved helmet for under $100. Check out extremesupply.com in their closeout section. Some great deals there. http://www.extremesupply.com/escloseouts/escloseou tstreet.html (Message edited by Zane on July 30, 2008) |

motorcycle-superstore.com always has some on clearance, and there's always ebay. You can look at manufacturers web sites to compare tech between different models, and usually find some reviews online somewhere too. |

Clothing and gear prices are usually double the price at an HD /Buell dealer. However there is a sale rack and that usually has the Buell items. Check the return policy if mail ordering a helmet. They are not created equal as different brands fit differently. If you cant return/exchange it, find a local dealer to try helmets on first. |
