Do you guys think the Buell addon windshield is worth it, or is there something better aftermarket wise? |

For the price new ($200) and for what it is (a really big windshield) its a good deal. It bolts right on stock, very simply, without any issues and has really good coverage. Wont void your warranty, which may happen with other windshields. I'd say if this is your first motorcycle (dont remember) ride without it for awhile. I've heard many people say the Buell windshield really helps, but its batcycle big! Ebay used will usually go high in the $125+ range. |

Personally, the only reason I got a windshield was because riding in the winter was making me hypothermic. My second windshield is a Givi. It's smaller, and just right! Someone threw a lit cigarette at me recently. It was headed exactly for my neck, too! It smacked the windshield just below the top, then bounced off the front of my helmet and that's the last I saw it. On hot days, I contemplate taking it back off, but it's a bit more involved than removing the Buell windshield, so I haven't yet. |

I have to second what Gearheaderiko said. Ride you're Blast for a while without a windshield. Before I bought my Blast, I considered a windshield as a must have piece of equipment. But after 4 months and about 1500 miles I've changed my mind completely. Not going to bother with a windshield at all at this point. |
