You have 3 PS options: Order one from Appleton HD (a Badweb sponsor who in the past has been very good at getting obsolete parts). Order one from Chicago Harley and wait. Order just an elbow from either and add a K & N or Uni filter (or any other filter that fits). ProSeries cams are the same as Andrews B50 cams. You might still be able to get the PS cams from a dealer or order Andrews cams up aftermarket. They're good cams that bolt in without mods and can be upgraded later after mods. You'll have to pull the cam cover off and the rocker cover off to install them. Not that difficult, just get the timing marks lined up right. |

The Pro series Cams really fills in the mid range torque and though only a gain of a hp or two - the response difference is noticeable. No special work required really parts wise. EZ |

k cuz my dealership said that there were only 2 dealers that showed they had a ps in stock and i called both and they said they didnt have it....should i go to appleton hd web sit or just call them??? what are the odds they can get me one? also is it better to just order the elbow? or just get the whole set up? |

Do you have the part numbers of both? I'd get whichever they can get for you, but already having the part numbers saves them (and you) a lot of time, so they're more willing to help. Call Appleton direct. Mention Badweb. Chicago Harley website still brings up both part numbers as good. Only talked to them once, I usually just order and see what happens! PS I think the odds are good at getting either and either is good (frankly the UNI weighs less). Its nice to have the rain guard that comes with the whole kit, but I've ridden bikes without it (in the rain). |

how did you make that work???? i spent all night trying to figure something out and then decided to go to work and make a alum. bracket (kinda like the plastic one that stock and mounts to the cqrb but totaly round. but we didnt have any alum. round stock big enough... also what do you do about that "t" fitting that is like an oil drin into the air box |

Ditch the "T" fitting. All you need to know is that the PCV line goes from the valve/rocker cover fitting to the ground. Thats all. Optional is to add a catch can, breather element/filter, drain tube or any combination. But all the line needs to do is go from the PCV fitting to the ground. Everything else is just venting the line into the carb (instead of to the ground) and adding the drain tube for condensation (not needed if the line goes to the ground). |

I posted the procedure here somewhere. Someone else saw it and improved on it. I'll post a link if I find it. At first, I just left that T there. It dripped and made a mess, so I turned it and put a breather on it. I used a Dremel (more accurately a Craftsman Rotary Tool) to take the bottom off so that it would mount flat. If I can't find the pictures here, I have them somewhere... (Message edited by reuel on June 18, 2008) |

Yes please try to find it as I have my stock air box off and I refuse to put it back on now lol.... so I can't ride till I find somethin else to use. And with the "t" just take it out and put a double sided barbed fitting in there to connect the 2 hoses and its all good?. |

Basicly I just want to find a way to mount a 3 inch 90 degree elbow to the car from there I'm set! How has it been done? I can machine up somethin but I have to order the alum. That's gunna take a few day I wanna have it done tonight!... someone, anyone? Lol |

Plug the "T",put a double sided barb fitting or run a new hose, all works. Dont get confused by all that hose work (and you dont even have a California bike!). See my above post for all you really need. Some have used PVC pipe from your local HD (Home Depot). Take your time and do it right. Otherwise you may find yourself losing parts going down the road, one of which may be the carb! |

Well that's what I was thinkin pvc... but that still leads me stumped on how to mount it... I mean they sell rubber cupplers and the 90 or 60 degree bend to make a intake at autozone. But I have nothing to clamp it to seein the face of the carb is flat and the stock plastic piece isn't totaly round... |

Rockstar...PM me with your address, etc..for the cost of shipping, I will send you a filter like Reuel has...the only problem I had with it is it sticks out in the way of my knee...I really liked the way it looked, but i'm real short legged and my knee ended up in just the wrong place. Luckily, after many, many phone calls and dead ends I located a pro intake system. The one I located was at Nassau County HD in New York...but it was the last one they had...and the last one for sale on E-bay fetched a pretty penny by the time it sold!! |

Here is the spacer you would use to mount it to the carb - http://www.kuryakyn.com/category.asp?bn=harley&cn= Air+Cleaners&sn=Air+Cleaner+Accessories EZ |

Is there anyway to get a replacement K&N filter for the Pro Series Intake? I'm emailing K&N now. Thanks in advance. |
