where did you get the prices from? so the 140/70/16 is the best one? thanks |

http://www.americanmototire.com/catalog/index.php? cPath=33_188_194 http://www.americanmototire.com/catalog/index.php? cPath=362_433 http://www.cyclegear.com/productlist.cfm I've found American Motorcycle tire and Cycle Gear to have the best prices. When comparing take into account shipping, tax (when applicable) and mount & balance. CG doesnt always list the needed sizes. They charge $20 to mount and balance the tire if you buy it from them, whether online or in the store. $30 otherwise if you arent inclined to M & B them yourself (if there is a store local). 140/70 in the Scooter Diablo for mileage and handling. Scooter ST66 (140/70) for better mileage (but reports are they handle well too). |

Cool! FYI: Dont expect to wait for your tire to be changed while you wait. You might have to leave the wheel and pick it up later or the next day. Depends on the store though. |

Thanks for the ST66 suggestion ya'll. I've got nearly 6200 miles so far with great wear and even with all the curve-less roads I manage to end up on, it is not squaring off. And yep EZ, it does handle pretty good on the dirt as well Could easily imagine getting 10,000 or more, yeeee-haw! |
