Thanks for the great advice! I think I am going to go with the MT75s.

As for a different bike next summer --I really like the Blast, but I have at least one family member eying the Blast for themselves.

The all do - and people always end up regretting giving up their Blasts - even the problem child bikes - because they are easy to fix, and are fun and inexpensive compared to other bikes. Most agree - they would rather take a Blast into the city to run errands than their bigger bike.

Update on the tires. I went with the MT75s. Had them installed a local shop. Turned out great and I was able to recommend them to another rider.

Only issue is every weekend they need air. Initial reading about 21.5. This happened with the old set too. I live in MI and the temperatures fluctuate quite a bit.

Question is -- How often does everyone else need to add air their tires?

Not that often and only by 2-3lbs after months. Extreme temps will raise and lower pressure, without losing air.
My guess is dirty rims or leaking valves. Or setting the tire pressure too low initially.

I set the tire pressure at 28 Front and 30 Rear. I think I am going to get me a new tire pressure gauge too.

Thanks for the quick response!

Sounds like a good idea, just in case!

City Tread 140/70-16 People at American Motorcycle Tire say it will fit just like the ST66, anyone tried one?

Never mind - I thought I had found a ST-66 source for you....but you're right in that every site seems to be out of stock right now.

Jon,

I bought my ST66 rear tire from Amazon about 2 months ago, but it is now currently unavailable.

I guess my next tires will be Michelin Street Print.
