Welcome Ampy! http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/171 43/17143.html Check the list of sponsors. It also really depends on what you need as there really isnt a one stop shop for Blast performance parts. Exhausts are the most easily found item available from a variety of different aftermarket vendors. American Sport Bike has quite a few items. Revolution Performance is good for engine parts and machine work. What are you looking to do? What do you need? |

Thanks, I would love to come, but my dad wont let me ride on the freeway until I have atleast a year of riding under my belt. I just want a exhaust, intake, jets. Quick question, does anyone make a aftermarket seat that has the dip, but isn't lower than stock height(does that make sense) (Message edited by ampy549 on August 16, 2007) |

Corbin I rode the Big Kids Blast last night and his stock seat was totaled! What a pain inthearse! It has over 22,000 miles on it so it is understandable |

Corbin seats are comfy once you have broken them in...but the fit leaves something to be desires. I have a Corbin but if I had it to do again I would send a stock seatpan to Sargent to have a new seat made |

Corbin-comfy out of the box! Seats are a matter of opinion. I like mine firm (Corbin unbroken). Others love the soft tall stock seat (horrible). We all have different 'seats' and that'll dictate what works best for us. Sargents is definitely a good bet, they'll do just whatever you ask and it'll cost you the price of a Corbin or less (as long as you have a seat to send them). Corbin will also custom make the seat, but it'll generally cost more. |

Erik I guess your butt is the same shape as the Corbin butt model....mine is not. It took me about 5-6k miles to get mine feeling really good and then my dad gave me an Alaska Leather buttpad. Now my seat is really comfortable |

thanks for the replies, I paid for the blast today, it should be here in late sept. I also gonna order the J&h or d&d exhaust, jets, corbin seat, and air cleaner. Im debating on if I should just pay them to throw the jets in. |

If you can do the exhaust, you can do the jets! I would ask what, if anything, will void your warranty. Xgecko: No my butt is smaller than the Corbin model! (actually, throwing some leather over the frame rails would suit me fine) |

Hey! This is getting a little off topic don't ya think? Maybe we should start a new thread called Erik's butt. Holy cow.. where's a "modulator" when you need one... LOL.. But (pun intended) since we are on the topic, my butt is in the same camp as Erik's. The harder the better. When I pulled the cushy seat off my FXRP and put on a hard as a rock LePera, it added hours to my ride time. I put a Mustang on my Roadking not quite as comfy as the LePera but the backrest is GOLDEN!!!! |

Not always necessary, but a really good idea. The benefit can depend a lot on where you live and how you ride. Jetting is easy and you'll get plenty of help here. |
