Hey guys my brother dropped my blast a few days ago and landed in the grass. There isnt too much damage but there are light scratches on the front windscreen and tank cover. Should i try buffing them out or will it end up just making it look worse? Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks, Andrew |

Gently use ultra fine grit on scratch area then buff very gently. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

Though it may be better to leave it alone. You can definitely do more harm than good, unless you have old worn bodywork. (I've seen a few botched scratch repair jobs) |

Andrew Maybe I can advise you on this one. Since winter has returned to Minnesota (from 86 to 40 in one day) I spent the weekend cleaning and shining up my blast. I had some boot scuffs on the tail so I thought I would polish it up a little. I used Meguiars #9 swirl remover, the "gentlest" least abrasive polish available. When I was done the boot scuff was gone but now the black plastic looks cloudy, very cloudy, almost a grey when looked at straight on. I don't know if a coat of colored wax will save it or not, but I agree with with Erik, leave it alone! |
