Some drunk knocked over my bike while i was gone and the brake paddle as well as the foot rest got bent in. I took it to hd and they said that they could try to bend back the support(which they never did) and they could install and new brake paddle(apparently if they tried to bend it bake it would become brittle). Well now the brake paddle sticks down when i push it down and i guess I'm stuck bending the piece back my self... but do you guys have any idea what i can do to fix this? |

Take off the brake pedal, Check the pivot pin that it is attached to. Also check the clevis that is attached to the brake master cylinder. If it is the foot peg "Y" bracket that is bent, those can be reshaped on the bike with a little help from a heavy friend that holds the bike down while you lift the bike using a leverage bar or board chained to the foot peg area and pivoted where it attaches to the frame. |

This is going to sound really weird... i was on my way to the dealership this morning to ask them to go back and fix it. I checked it and it still stuck, but of course when I am showing the guy it starts working... I think god is just mad at me right now. |
