Hmmmm.... Interesting thought. That is quite possible, I was thinking it was maybe an alarm or something???? Why did they recall the rear sprocket? |

Concur, speedo correction box. 2000 pulley's were weak because they were an unreinforced 'bell'. They came apart (exploded some say). |

i lost my only key to my blast. What do I do now? Buy new ignition? |

Welcome 2hrcommute! I think you can order a new key through Buell/(HD). New bikes usually come with a key tag that has the key number on it. Its also probably on the ignition switch and they may also be able to order by the VIN number. Some locksmiths can make you a key, but you might have to take the ignition off the bike (or it might get expensive). If someone has enough keys (like a dealer) they may have one that fits. However you get a key made prepare to show your registration and/or proof of ownership. Some states are really strict on this and it can make getting anything keyed or duplicated a real pain. |
