i modified my air box today as per EZ's instructions. i can't believe how much of a differance it made. the bike now idles much smoother, but in all honesty i don't know if it is from the air box mod, rerouting the breather or the carb cleaner i sprayed in the carb. all i know the bike is running great and i can't wait for UPS to come tomorrow with my K&N air filter. to anyone thinking of doing this mod i can say first hand it is easy to do and seemed to make a world of differance to the bike. thanks EZ for such a well written procedure. Quick question - do you reinstall the big plastic scoop on the left side of the bike when doing the airbox mod? I read that it helps direct air toward the box, so seems like it might be good to keep. Thanks. |
