The corrected numbers are lower, however, are still respectable - 71 hp/61 ft-lbs. Go Terry! EZ |

This bike should be fast - but there is a clue to its performance on the last line: No. 6261B Entry Name: Kamphuis Racing Engine: 750CC Body: APS-PBF Old Record: 0.000 New Record: 88.368 Driver/Rider: H/D HD - Spit! Pity - such potential, strangled by HD engineering...Why so slow????? EZ |

88mph with a 750cc turbo? That must be some strange class they're running in!? |

To put that in perspective - that is stock XB territory on the salt (an exhaust and ignition would add a min. of 10 to that). So that is a naturally aspirated Blast as fast as an XB - sounds like fun to me! EZ |

New Record: 88.368 mph? Pretty sure I can do that on a stock Blast. What am I missing? |

Maybe they are just dialing it in this year, and next, they'll actually use the turbo? - lol EZ |

For Ray Germane - who created this LSR Blast Sidecar in the 500cc category netting a top 50 hp! His story is in the Blast archives - sigh...I remember it well - lol EZBlast

Hence in quotation marks,It is lettered 44 Magnum on the tank cover I would love to know what is in it without having to take it apart. |

I was under the impression the 44 mag was a long stroke 600cc big bore. Or maybe it was supposed to be. Either way, all the information is here on BADWEB about the LSR sidecar and the 44 mag. |
