Well I went out and purchased a new battery and life was great for about 2 weeks. Now I'm having the same problem. I checked the acid level and there was none again. Any idea what would cause this? I bought the battery from Sam's Club(only place to get one on a sunday here). It is a Energizer believe it or not. Thanks Tim |

Use closed cell batteries as the stock one is - the acid is leaking out of yours. GT - JBOTDS! EZ |

Either get a stock battery from the dealer or get an Optima Dry cell battery from someplace like Interstate Batteries. We cannot use a lead acid battery because they do not mount uprite. |

Thanks for the replies. I guess I'm off to the local interstate battery warehouse to get a dry cell. I had wanted to get one before but they were closed on Sundays and the wife wanted to take it for a ride. Oh well-Live and learn. Thanks again Tim |
