Hi. I'm a chick, just bought a 2003 Buell Blast, first bike. From reading other posts, I've noticed alot of stuff about rearsets and replacing them. What are they and what do people change them out and with what? Thanks! j9 |

Welcome to the board and congrats on your new bike. Rear sets are basically new foot pegs. They will move your legs back and up so when you hit the twisties you won't be scapin peg. You should be able to get them ordered from your local dealer they will run about $500 and are made of aluminium.

Don't bother with your dealer unless you have problems assembling puzzels. Order them from either one of our sponsors or from Crossroads Performance directly |

My panties are not bunched up, I just like to wear em a little snug And those rearsets are ugly, even if my bike wasnt messed up I would think they are ugly. The Blast doesnt need em, it goes around corners just fine. Hell the guy who ended up winning the Blast class in our Battletrax series was consistently faster than just about everyone else & it didnt matter what bike they were on. He just laid it down on the pegs & dragged em around the entire course. Bomber, nope no word yet. They "claimed" they were gonna call me last thurs. Well now its 5 days later & still no call. I could call them, but why? Besides I am seeing if I can make some LEMONade if ya gets my drift? |

LOL sorry again about your bike if you do need any dealer help let me know i can make a few calls in your behalf. I rode a Blast at Battletrax at HomeComming and had it so far over i was putting it on the sproket cover. Craig Jones was yelling at me to stop it. |

Personally I prefer the Custom rearsets they look better and they are easier to put together |

and a new rider will need rearset for what reason, exactly? Dyna . . . .grab all the help you can get, brother . . . .it sure looks to me like the X1 had more serious quality problems than the rest of the list . . . . as for the tightness of yer panties, I will withhold my opinion til I see you again tonight at Uke's |

Hey spiderman: Yes, J9 is here. Just posted on Blast board about looking for cool Buell sticker for the inside of my rear window on my car. Hope I get some info. In response to "dyna" back in September: No, I do not start every sentence with "Hi, I'm a chick." Just wanted you all to know that I am a female Buell rider (in the minority?), albeit a beginner, and am loving it! j9 (or Jaweenee or my bike's name "Jezebuell" |
