I've posted on this topic elsewhere, but thought I'd add it to the Blast-specific forum, too: My Blast is my first bike, and I've dropped it a couple times already. Not a big problem, except that after I stand it back up, it won't start, at least not until some time has passed. What I'd like to know is: How long is it SUPPOSED to take before I can start the bike again? And, how would I go about disabling the tip sensor so that in the future, dropping the bike doesn't mean the end of my riding for the day? Thanks! |

Actually, it's NOT stopping the engine while the bike is on its side, but it IS keeping me from riding the bike for hours afterward. |

It shouldn't take hours to have the tipover sensor to reset. If you stand the bike up, and turn off the ignition, it should reset after a short period of time. I would replace it, but to bypass it, connect the light green/gray wire and the Tan/yellow wires together. Make sire that the White/Black wire is insulated. James |

If the bike continues to run after being tipped, it may be that the rollover valve in the fuel tank (vent) is sticking. The bike will probably run, but not very well (ie: wont rev up, no power, etc.) If this is the case, undo the gas cap and see if the problem goes away. PLEASE be extremely careful if test riding with the gas cap loose or off. (there's nothing like a little gas all over you and your bike) |
