Ok, Ok, I know bad pun.

N-E-Way, Last Sun. while at work I got to take two m/c down to Ventura. Yes, they both had problems. But it was nice to tow them(lol). One was a red '06 GSXR(two weeks old) with a flat rear, the other was a silver '03 Aprilia. The riders told me about this tie down called a Canyon Dancer, has anybody heard about them or better yet used them? Seeing as how I get to tie things down and transport them for a living (sometimes bikes) I might look into this item for my own personal use (even if I use it for work, from time to time). Any comments from personal experiance w/ them would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance Y'all.

Canyon Dancers: http://www.canyondancer.com/

Most guys with fully faired bikes with clip ons use these, so you don't have to thread the straps through the fairings. I'm not real fond of them, soft hooks or loops work just fine on the bikes that I've had.

If I drove a tow truck for a living I'd have one though. It's probably the easiest way to tie down a modern sportbike.

I'm more comfortable strapping to the frame than the handlebars, especially on an S2. Kind of hard to strap to the frame of an XB though.

I am considering buying three, one to keep under the seat of my bike (just in case), and two for my flatbed.

I can understand the tie to the frame; simple, effective, secure. The only problem is on bikes like XBs, full dressers, or anything w/ a full fairing its kinda hard to do that.
