Last pics he posted, it was almost done. Looked very very very VERY labor-intensive. Looked really good, but lots of cutting and welding. edit: I'm talking about the tail section, with the cutting and welding. I don't think that would be necessary for the fairing, not sure what you would need for that exact fairing. There are similar ones out there that might be easier, check the links section of the TKV. The Big Kid saw the Yellow Blast in front of the Rolls Royce in the April 12, 05 archives and said he wanted his to look like that.

Naustin, how do you like the exhaust so far ? |

It's wicked. I wear ear plugs 100% of the time now, but I really like it. My wife worries that we disturb people when we ride around in town, but if I go easy on the throttle, it isn't really any louder than half the harleys that cruise by. Here in Rural MN, at least 50% of the bikes are Harleys, and most of them have some kind of aftermarket exhaust. Not all are wide open, but most of them are loud. So, I haven't attracted any attention from the cops. Since I always wear a helmet, unlike 99.9% of other riders around here, they leave me alone. The Harley guys wave, the Kids on Scooters honk and the joe-rockets just stare. (Message edited by naustin on July 14, 2005) |

It is the cat's meow. Or actually, the cat's amplified ROAR. I like it alot. Gimmie Gimmie ear plugs, however. |

Louder, lighter, equally heavy duty. I do have some clearance problems with mine on left hand turns when riding 2 up. But it's not too bad. |

I am taking the V&H off this fall when the bike goes up for the winter, and wasnt sure which one to get. I narrowed it down to those two. I will go with the bub if I can find one. |

Try dennis kirk. Not the main web-page, but his auctions on ebay. That's where I got mine, it was brand new. |
