Hey guys, went for a ride the other day and heard a metal ping and bike wouldn’t idle any more or take off from stop, just bog down and die. Doing a little digging, I found out that the throttle shaft that the butterfly valve is mounted to...snapped in half around one of the screws. So, My TPS can’t read anything, the bike idles rough and coughs and sputters and backfires through the intake. I need to know if I can just replace that shaft (doesn’t really look like it) or if someone here has or knows of a throttle body I can buy, preferably on Vancouver Island. |
