Well, I give up. Paul comes all the way from Australia, I extend him the same simple courtesy that I do Road Thing (short parallel parking from the sidewalk side of the parking space and the flashing strobes) and he acts indignant. Next time he can buy his own damned dinner! Court

I know Paul keeps watered down beer in the fridge for when he has American guests over, so is that really true? No Vegemite....? |

I was a bit upset at the cheap alfresco style meal offered, just outdoors half a block from Wall Street and NOTE no Dumpster. If the quality undercover style dinning (read dumpster) is good enough for a Texan, well you can see what I am getting at. Had a great night last night,9:00pm Staten Island ferry to NYC then the lower end Grand tour. Highlights including Wall street, Woolworths Building at night, Ground Zero (last time I was there was 9/10/2001. Finished of with a Starbucks in Battery Park. The View of NYC Sky line at night from the water is somthing to behold. Today I get to walk Jack the Dog around the Block then I get some breakfast. Us Aussies are easily amused. Paul-in-NYC |

Geeeeshhhhh...I send Spon #2 to town with a mate from Oz. As the sun rises I am not sure who was at the greater risk! S.. if you can match the following choices to the following photos: A. LEGEND B. LEGEND....in time. C. LEGEND ....in his own mind! I, as those of you who know me as a write, diminutive, reserved person would expect, stayed home, did the laundry and knitted a sweater for the dog. I thought the NYC food quality might have improved with the arrival of some local type's but alas, you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

That be the infa-mouse bloke or is that Blake do not recall to much has happened in last week. The Invaders are leaving Court could not take any more so headed out to Honalulullu yesterday. Left Jim the fireman at JFK 7:00am this morning Blake is heading to texas as I type, Henrik could not take any more and has gone west, Araon has taken Susan to Macy's or is that the other way round. I am waiting to leave JFK for home only another 31 1/2 hours and I will be home. So long and thanks for all the fish. NYC has been fun but you can keep the crowds and the waiting in line to do anything. |

Arrived back home 41 hours from waking up and taking Jim to JFK to pick up at airport in Oz. There must be a easier way to travel. Beam me up Scotty, looks real good. Good to see yer againy Mike even if I was about to fall over. To the rest of you guys and girls my time spent in NYC was just what I needed after the previous weeks events. Watching Susan in time square was worth the trip alone. Blake must have made the headlines in the papers over there. "Big Texan talks to people in subway, New Yorkers don't know what to do." Just remeber if you ever get into trouble Cousin Joe, Jack and Pauly can fix it for yer. |

New Yorkers you got love them. Three thats right three coffey makers on the bench top and we go to Starbucks for our morning coffey. Guess thats the way you do it on Staten Island. PS: I require a photo once a month with The New York Times headline along side the Lions to prove they are still on the front porch. If not I know a couple of Joe's I can send around. |

Henrik had mentioned something about having three bikes in the garage. Henrik wasn't home from work yet. Blake and Paul determine that the lock on the door and any interceding structure will require serious demolition to gain access... Paul seemed to be well-versed in breaking stuff. It was the "entering" that gave us trouble. (note the lock on door) Leave it to the Italian from Jersey (Joyzee) to make us both look like fools. Fuggeddaboudit. Piece a cake. Unfortunately Henrik had anticipated our tactics and had also put padlocks on the garage doors and on the bikes too. The guy simply didn't trust us. Smart man. Hmmm... I'm starting to wonder if the Firebolt's low battery and the missing charger were just coincidence. Next time we'll come better prepared. Good friends and good times The Doctor demonstrates how to crack a beer with no opener. It was a great visit and a great time was had by all. Thank you Henrik and Melissa! If you need a break from the home renovation, you are welcome in Kilgore, Texas any time. Besides, I need some help rewiring the place. Next... The Wilsons arrive, the festivities, and NYC. Here's a hint of what may come...
