One of the funnier stories . . . . When HD came on board the first President of Buell was Mark Cunningham . . . . . there were a number of these old "Red S2 posters" left over from the "pre-acquisition days" and they we're all that popular with the HD folks. They were laid atop a large file cabinet outside Carrie's office and I was told to "get rid of them". Ever the embodiment of an obedient employee . . . I did.

Well . . . . the first load of shirts was hauled out . . .just 300 or 400 more and we'll be through the shirts . . . . some of these may be fun for folks new to Buell . . . About half of them have been worn . . . Technically this is a SAAB shirt . . . . from the wonderful time I was acciedntly put on the motojournaiist list for CARS rather than motorcycles . . . ferreted away to Lime Rock Park for 3 days by Saab North America and given the chance to flog the new VIGGEN. Saab being closed was, in my mind, as bad as what HD did to Buell. Kinda cool . . a Levi's jacket with MADE IN U.S.A. . . . .on the label won't find many of those. |

DID you find any S1W tank Decals for a Molten orange tank? If I remember you started cleaning out your basement 3 years ago! I didn't realize your basement was the size of a Super Walmart ! lol Have fun Moving I have moved Corporate offices every 2 years for the last 10 years and flipped or built new homes at about the same pace so I feel your pain |

. . . . . .the "signature" evidence of my affinity for fountain pens . . . . I've got several EBR shirts that had to be replaced on a hurry up basis . . . Great memories |

Yeah, they do that. Soak them with soap long enough and most of it will come out. DAMHIK! (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Duke-Carbon-Fiber-Series-R ed-Fountian-Pen-/261403531422?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_ 0&hash=item3cdcdd589e) You won't mistake the nib for a $200 pen, but you sure as heck won't believe its a $19 pen either. Its quite nice, I bought one, used it, and immediately ordered a spare. |

Well Court...I own a '95 S2, 98 S1W, 98 Defender, 01 M2L, 06 Ulysses, and 09 1125CR. Any shirts or swag you have relating to them...I'd be happy to give a good home to. L/XL for shirts/jackets depending how they're cut (most stuff I'm XL, unless it's a tee...). Love that "white lightning" shirt! If I get a box with an invoice in it...you'll get a check. Guaranteed Please don't let the stuff get trashed! |

I think we would all buy some of those shirts. I have a 97 s1 and lost my s1 wheelie shirt at an ex gf house. I bought it the day I bought the bike. Ugh. Can you guess which one I miss? |

Jim: I can do better than that . . . in the cleaning operation the guys dug out a case (large airline shipping case) of TEAM ELVES gear . . t-shirts, jerseys, patches, lanyards, name tags and the works . . . . I can't, in good faith, sell it . . it's the property of TEAM ELVES. But YOU CAN . . . and apply any proceeds to racing . . that would meet all the mandates of the team and be very cool. If you want to foot the bill for the shipping (figure a 2' x 2' x 2' box) I'll send it ALL to you. Court |

I'll have to check on the S2 inner liners . . they just hauled out an entire crate of saddlebags and lids for the various S2's. I'd like to keep one set of liners . . but let me see how may spares there are. I've been selling some of the stuff on eBay . . . and am going, as time permits, to keep putting stuff there. My goal is to dispense with as much as possible prior to moving. |

Court also has an M2 front caliper for sale, shipped from Ohio. Disclaimer, it has one mounting hole carefully repaired (via heli-coil) by a talented 6th grade girl.
She also fixed the Mac laptop adapter, but I'm guessing Court wants to keep that one. |

Hahahaha . . . .no way I'm ready to part with Audrey's handy work yet . . . I'm thinking that needs to be polished and framed as a monument to how a talented young lady can do what a motorcycle aficionado could not . . . . the story behind that caliper was legend . . . In fact. . send me the full res of that photo . . . it'd be cool to get frame with the polished caliper! |

For those of you who bought the shirts off eBay . . they are shipped . . . the others, the brand new 1125 launch shirt (which brought a whopping offer of $0.99) and the Buell racing shirt got given away to a neighbor. Not worth shipping at that point. I'm going to dig some more stuff out tonight. |
