Or just cut both ends and put your own connector on it. Let me know what gauge the wire is and I can send you a connector with all the pins needed. I also need to know how many wires are connected. Knowing the amperage would be nice but not necessarily needed. Being in Customer Service has it's benefits. |

Brin, I'd call you a bit obsesive on this subject, but I'd have to call myself the same in another LOL. I'm proud to say that you go to extreme lengths to keep your bike pristine. Good for you. I rebuilt the taillight harness on my S2 while back and just cut out the bad wire and spliced new wire into the connectors with heatshrink connections. Works for me; I have a working taillight again. That's a far as I'd go for it. But then again I've gone to extreme lengths to get specific pieces for other parts of the bike, like my Ducati 1098S Tricolore front wheel that I'm working on. |
