Court, What States required their 2006-2009 Buells to meet California Emissions standards? There are some low mileage offers (less than 7500 miles) outside of California I would like to bid on, but cannot because I do not have a method of verifying whether the bikes met California's Emission Standards when originally manufactured. I have looked on Buell's website and cannot find contact information. Thank you, Husky |

None, except CA. Buell makes but TWO domestic models. "49 state" and "CA". If you are brining a bike into CA there are (one of the Californicators can hone this to proper accuracy) something like 3 criteria. The 'Fornian's will be here in a few minutes with details. . . |

By the way . . . do you know who played piano for Stephen Stills on "49 Bye Bye's"? |

I guess the answer is Stephen Stills? As far as CA registration/titling, I believe the bike has to have more than 7500 miles on it to be registered/titled. I dont remember what has to happen if its less than 7500 miles. It seems like a whole lot of trouble when all thats needed is a charcol canister and some tubing! This came up at the Blast forum and I offered to lend out my speedo! Not a great answer, but it'll get you started. |
