I recently bought a M2. Bike had only been titled to the original owner. It was purchased from a Miami, FL H-D/Buell shop in April, 2002. The VIN comes out a 2001 model. I got all the dealer service paperwork with the bike, and the printouts for each service all include the VIN, and say 2001 Cyclone. The original Florida title has it as a 2002 model. Ever hear of such a thing? Shupe |

VIN has the year in it. Check your owners manual, find the "year letter" and confirm. If you want to send me the VIN I can take a look. The VIN will likely be correct, the title likely wrong. |

The VIN will likely be correct, the title likely wrong. I've checked the VIN, it's a 2001. Just wondered how the DMV could have titled it as a 2002. Shupe |

>>>>>Just wondered how the DMV could have titled it as a 2002. Go out partying tonight . . . and tomorrow morning, about 0830, close your eyes and try to type 2001 on a keyboard. While your waiting this afternoon . . . do a google search for "entry requirements - motorcycle vehicle department - data entry clerk". |
