Gee Thanks RT...and to think Bomber is just a local kid that follows me around. Argggghhhh!!! Oh well, at least I didn't win the "Old Fart in the Crowd" award at the Buell 20th banquet. Some gentleman outscored me by two years. Yahoo!!! Congrats Court. It only gets better! |

Gee, thanks RT. Looks like we are going to have some fun terrorizing the women and those that let life pass them by in the "Home" 30 or 40 years from now! |

Court, Just a little question, what should I do? I figured you have been busy with the 20th and all, very sorry I couldn't make it. Anyway, I'm a little lost. Or if one of the anon's could help out here. Ben(Luckiest Man Alive) |

hello, what can you tell me about saftey recall code 0810- front isolator mount system, this is the only recall that is open when i run the vin,# on a 98 S3 i bought about 3 months ago. are there any casting numbers or marks that make it different from the old mount? owner thought all recalls were done and local dealer can't tell me any information on these parts. any help would be appreciated, thanks, allen |

If Buell shows that the recall has not been done than the dealer MUST do the recall at no charge to you. In fact they really should not let the bike leave the dealership without doing it. If you have the bike get them to order up the parts and take it in when they have them. Dave |

When you say you ran the VIN, I assume that was through the dealer, no? If the dealer shows the recall NEEDS to be done, have them order the parts and put you on the schedule. The dealer can download all of the information regarding the campaign at hdnet. Tell your dealer that if they have ANY questions to call SPOC....uh, the one in Milwaukee, not on the Enterprise. Inquiring minds want to know... Will/When will you join the ranks of Buell XB12 owners? |

Blake asked: Inquiring minds want to know... Will/When will you join the ranks of Buell XB12 owners? If that question is for everyone ...... it all depends on finding a good dealership in the state of Arizona. Something I don't see happening anytime soon. So ...... I'll probably end up purchasing a BMW 1150GSA, 1200GT, Ducati or Aprilia. -JW:> |

JW: Love your taste and I am faced with the same dilema. Until I can have the equipment and know how to rezero a TPS, I'm just flat screwed. The part that pisses me off is that I am powerless to disarm the local naysayers. We've an interesting riding club with the likes of Laurence Fishburne, Donna Karan's hubby and Jeremy Irons. The press and ribbing that results from events like the recent defection of Stamford (arguably one of America's wealthiest communities) Buell hurts. I got it through and e-mail list of The Guggenheim Club that went to the membership stating many "inaccurate reasons" as to why the Buells were being discontinued. It is, I suggest, Buells next huge challenge. I work in the midst of the largest Union construction project in New York City and am continually amazed by the comments "I've never heard of that" or "what kinda problems have you had?" that I get when I wear my Buell jackets. I'd love a new XB12R, but not that hassle that would result from not having a dealership. Ergo, until that time, I'm with you...I'm doing the CL77, Norton, Bonneville and Super-Motard toys. |

So I'm going through my back issues of magazines and throwing most away when I come upon a Spring '97 issue of Hot XL (now defunct) with a article ("Buell or Harley? - The Distinction May Be Growing Clearer" ) by some guy named Court. Nice picture of you in front of Topeka HD with a bone stock S1. |
