Gonna buy a black on black 98 s1 the title says s1w and the bike has thunderstorm heads any other way to determine if this is a white lightning in black besides the vin# ? the owner says its factory?THX | ||

Check the VIN. I'd have to go back and look but the S1 and the S1WL have different VINs. S1 VIN - 4MZSS11J5W320xxxx S1W VIN - 4MZYS11JXW322xxxx You're looking for the "Y" instead of an "S". | ||

Correct as always, Court. My S1W (Liberace Edition) has the 4MZYS sequence, and it is a genuine White as it appears that way on H-Dnet. In addition to having the white bodywork, blue insignia, white frame, white wheels, silver and polished motor with black heads.... If you have the VIN, send it to me if you want to make absolutely sure and I can run it thru H-Dnet. | ||

Well I new you'd know Thanks the bike was in crap condition but indeed a black s1w not what I wanted for the 5000.00 owell the search gos on for black or silver frame& body s1w. you guys rock!!!!! |
