Yer wrong. Air Tech does some custom fairing work but nothing for the factory. I've been looking for your address. Let me know what all parts you get that your looking to unload. My fairing bags are looking pretty ragged (42,000miles and all). |

O.K. guys, I better stick to the S3 for my "just in case" addition since that is what I am running now. In fact, sent a notice to Dave to get one for me since he gives the discount and no one around here does. Rather pay the money on shipping (about 10.00)and buy from dave at 232.00 than to pay list again. This "just in case" thing is getting expensive |

>>>>Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Air Tech did indeed make the RS/RSS bodywork. That is inaccurate information. AirTech never produced any bodywork for Buell Motorcycle Company Court |

All the material hgas been carefully protected and archived. We'll talk soon. Let me know if you are in the city some day. I am not working any longer and am available about anytime. Court |

Dave had asked back HERE....I'm guessing the tank cover was completed 28 Dec 94? What's with the "1st"? Perhaps it was installed 29 Dec 94? Perhaps you have your secret Buell decoder ring still? Any rhyme or reason? Yes, Virgina there was rhyme and reason. From the Barn-chives..... "I asked XXXX and he said KR is probably Kevin Rxxxxxx. The policy back then was to initialize the part when different grits of sanding were completed.ie 120,240,320. If the person in question is needed, the date also was to be written down. Personnel records may help to determine the actual person in question." Of course, well not be asking, but I hope that answers your question. Court |

Court's Helpful Holiday Hints 1) "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire" sounds better than, apparently, in reality, it is. I am thinking that if you are going to do this, it's best NOT to sit down in front of the football game and fall asleep. When the 6 smoke detectors when off in unison, I didn't know where the problem was. Fortunately, the flames coming from the kitchen made it easy to track it down. Er......anyone know where Jim Higgins is? I think *I* am about to be fined! Courtha Stewart |

Court Mate,When will you learn? And when is Vicki putting the Court detectors in the kitchen? After your last attempt at painting the dog, glueing the coffee mug, etc.I thought you would have stayed away from all chores domestic.Keep writing and stay out of trouble(relatively speaking). All the best .Ross |

Court, you got the lyrics all wrong...It's "Chestnuts 'ROASTING' on an open fire" not "Chestnuts 'CAUSING' an open fire". |

My Favorite Buell: Someone asked what my "favorite Buell" has been. To date, I've narrowed it down to 239 discreet Buells. I am working on narrowing the field and am having troulbe shaking this one. Erik and I were "kids", I rode this bike and he rode by "Super Sportster" (motor later appeared in a Red RS-1200) and we were out until 2am dancing, laughing and participating in what, a decade later, would come to be known as "hooliganism". There are a couple SPECTACULAR stories about this RS-1200 and the matching helmet. Note: intenionally blurred to protect the innocent. Photo credit: Marianne White Court |

Flashbacks....... Moved 7 "legal file size" cases of "Buell History" today. . . . SCARY. Anyone remember the nasty incident of fuel exhaustion and the introduction of. . . er, "purloined" diesel fuel into the Buell on a snow covered dirt road and the resultant ride with the 4 dead raccoons in the Ford Ranger? I'm trying to forget and looks what falls out...as if it were coming back to haunt me!

A guy by the name of Chris Dolan recently bought a brand new(like 30 miles) RR1000 for only $18,000. The market is very, very soft on collectible Buells right now. I recently bought a perefect condition RSS1200 for only $7,000. I think you are going to be very disappointed in what you are going to be offered for your bike. Poor economy = low bike prices. |
