Dennis Packey, owner of Riemans HD of Kewanee IL was very moved at Erik's reference to Roger Rieman when he introduced the XBRR to the dealers. It really means a lot to those of us who knew Roger that he is still thought well of by others. Could you thank Erik for that special moment. |

Reep, Dennis told me that at the intro, Erik said something to the effect that it would be more special if he could have Roger riding The XBRR in its outing at Daytona. Roger won the Daytona 200 three times for Harleyl-Davidson, I think he has the last win on the beach and the first win on the "banking", someone said that he also had the only one run in the rain, the someone who told me that could have been Evel Knievel tho. |

Madduck, I was there in Daytona...... I didn't realize its been 10 years, I will be on the track on Thursday and remember Roger, being from Illinois too, I feel Roger was special for us too. Thanks Erik, I'm sure Roger would have a grin on his face with a RR in front of him. (Message edited by coolice on February 03, 2006) |

Roger was an Ironman in the true sense of the word -- amazing race record, a real gentleman, and an outstanding sportsman -- he is still remembered, and missed |
