May 2, 2005 Link Wray turned 76. May 4, 2005 Dick Dale turned 68. These two guys are the original Men in Black. Link still Rumbles, Dick still Shreds. Both Men are on Tour right now. Link is in the East heading West and Dick is in the West heading East. Go for a ride and see the Real Deal. Dick Dales latest CD is "Spacial Disorientation"... Link Wrays latest CD is "Barbed Wire".Knowing the history of these two Men is understanding why I posted this on BadWeb. |

these guys provided the coundtrack for much of my lost youth -- the fact that they are still in the thick of it should be greatly cheering to all and sundry -- to misquote a tee-shirt "you don't stop having fun cuz ya get old, ya get old cuz ya stop having fun!" |

What a performance by Link Wray this evening.. As Link was waving his good-byes I raised my Strat with a sharpie in hand from front row center. Link paused just long enough to take my Strat in hand and sign it; LINK 2005... What a show ..... row |

Just a note to remind the elderly among you that today is JERRY GARCIA's birthday. Talk about a guy who changed his world and left a legacy behind. |

And who'd have ever thought Jeff "Skunk" Baxter would end up being a consultant, on the subject of International Terrorism, to the United States Government. Katy Lied? Maybe not.
