Gotta get you to Cincinnati sometime... ran across a road locally called "Canfield Court". It is (no kidding) about a mile from Buell road. |

(AP) - EAST TROY, WI In a ceremony unprecedented in the world or motor sports, or Christian tradition, long time Buell owner, rider and enthusiast Court Canfield wed Buell R&D Chief Fabricator Jack Rinehart. While outsiders cried foul at Canfield's transparent efforts to glean inside info regarding future Buell Motorcycle Company products, others were thrilled to know that, from this date hence, both Jack and Court could be "offed" with a single weapon should mankind deem it fit. Others commented on the comfort and peace of mind that will come from knowing where both are at the same time. Rampant rumors in social circles however already hint of trouble in the relationship relating to an inability to agree (both, products of the 60's own home stereos powered by Crown 1000W amps driving JPL Pro Series Concert stacks) on music. An acquaintance, who asked to remain anonymous, cites a recent incident during which Court was playing "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" and stood on a building ledge rather than allow Jack to put Link on the system. More details as this long-relationship continues to evolve. From the newsdesk..... |

Dino: Belated thanks to you to my friend and indeed the first two (I think my mailbox was full) If you get a chance to resend the 3rd, send it to court.canfield@gmail.com . . . that'll prevent that problem. By the way, those photos are really well done. We hired, for the wedding, a famed photographer and we got the proofs yesterday. It amazes me see the difference between simply a "picture" and a "photograph". Thanks for the wonderful contribution. Court |

Court: Yep, the third e-mail couldn't find a spot to land. I'll try again when I get home tonight. Glad you enjoyed them. We're up in the Yosemite area this weekend and went on the annual "art trail" yesterday. We saw some absolutely stunning color photography. Ah, for the patience to deal with 4x5 film format! As for the difference between a picture and a photograph...I had to feel sorry for the moderately gifted amateur photogs on the art trial who ended up showing at the same venue as a true professional. |

Dino: Trust me these is a difference. We got our wedding photos back Friday. The photographer was from Australia and is one of the top in the world. His own wedding was featured in the Martha Stewart Living magazine. I look at the photos and am absolutely amazed. Look, can you imagine a picture of Aaron dancing with an ear-to-ear smile while heads are waiting for a Bonneville event 3 weeks hence? Now THAT's photography. Thanks for sharing...I am setting out today to take the dog for a walk and snag a few pics of the trees in my neighborhood in NYC. Enjoy your trip, Court |

Court, I noticed the Double-Cush had disappeared from the Topeka museum and see that it is safe in your basement. Look what replaced it... do you know he story of this RR? Is it dealer owned?

>>>do you know he story of this RR? I think so if it is the one that came from up North of town. >>>Is it dealer owned? Wasn't. May be now. Mike divested himself of all his Buells a couple years ago. It may be an "on loan". It's one of my favorite Buell designs. It's alos the one I did the spectacular "slide and save" (entirely LUCK) in front of Uke's on back in 1995. Remind me to tell you someday.....

Wow, what is the value add for any Buell with the pedigree "one Court wrecked, or almost wrecked"? Or, in the grand tradition of "scarcity increases value", would that feature be worth nothing extra at all? |

Not my picture on Fuell, to the best of my knowledge. The D100 belongs to a young co-worker who foolishly made a "try the D100 before you pop for the D70" offer. I was hooked immediately. Shot a couple from the car on the way home, today will be the first real test.

Two comments and one question: Wow, very cool camera. Enjoyed the pix. Particularly the sky over the harbor. How do you get those chubby fingers of yours onto the the release catches of the lens cap the way it's recessed back into the lens hood? |
