The background color is hard on the eyes on a laptop. Can you or I change to color? |

In netscape navigator, go into the preferences and set the background color to white, or what ever you find pleasing. Then check the box that says to Always use my colors, overriding existing colors. Jim Armstrong X-2.5 |

I use IE 5 but it's the same thing. Thanks Jim. I notice you have not been signing X-# from hell. Nice to hear. Lee |

Lee, Glad to help, when I can. I still really love this bike, but it is a tempestuous relationship. Today it is in the shop for TWO oil leaks, and a broken chin fairing bracket (fourth time). These oil leaks are on the third engine that I have had. Rear rocker box gasket is blown out and I have some weaping somewhere around the transmission. But then again, the ride down to Santa Cruz today was soooo nice today. I threw a quart of Amsoil in it to be able to make down there, and the engine felt really good. I hated to part with it for a couple of more days. Jim X-2.5 |

Blake and Barney, How about backing this whole site up to CD-ROM once a month and sending it to a friend in another state? California for example ;-) Jim X-2.5 |

To make things easier we could setup a cd-rom tree. What would happen is that one person would burn, say.... 5 roms and then send them to other people who have burners as well. They make 5 copies and send it on. That way no one person is responsible for 30-40 cd-roms. Thats the way some legit live recordings of bands get passed around. |

Evil elves will come out and nibble on your testicles. But if you don't send it you'll really be in trouble... |

This has been discussed before and yet it still remains a mystery to me. It may be of very little importance , but never the less, it may aid a few folks posting here. When I access the Bad Web from my PC, the window opens over the full screen. If I need to access any of the special functions, I need to use the edit profile feature on the second page. Once accessed, I can choose from a number of topics, which I'm sure most of us are familiar with. Then there's my lap top. Now, when I access the Bad Web with this tool, the homepage opens with a side window attached. In this window, all the features I have from using the PC, are readily accessible, but now all I have to do is use the side window to access them. The side window also has a visitors counter which I cannot "see" using the edit profile method on my PC. Well, a curious thing has happened and it is this. Recently, I posted a link to the Bad Web from La Busa's, and guess what, the link address is slightly different from the one my PC normally logs onto ! With this new address, my PC now opens the side window with the special functions and counter. Normally I enter Bad Web here http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/board-topics.html and the La Busa's link I entered from is here http://.www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/board.html Thanks for listening and hopes this curious bit of info helps someone.
