As a side note on this, the latest version of Firefox now does spelling correction on the fly, so I see my spelling errors and can correct them as I type them in. |

Please, for the love of God, make the fonts on the front page easier to read. You don't need all that fancy crap. TNR or Arial is fine. Make them all the same size too. |

How about adding a column for "original poster" an one for "views." Or, original poster could be included with the thread title. Topics Replies Author Views Last Post check this page: http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=4 or this one: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=26 You could dump the "pages" column as it is moot until that thread is opened. At that time it's obvious there are more than one page as it goes to archive. (Message edited by teeps on January 15, 2007) |

you should have a section where you show a list of sponsors and advertisers. At one point I had to click back and fourth on site to find the Drummer advertising to get to that site. Please consider. |

Tah . . tah . . Carefully concealed in a section entitled Sponsor News, Information, Cool Stuff... See if that helps. |

You should show not only how many people post but how many people read your thread. |

Who care's how many viewed a thread. Only time I look at something like that is looking at a Ebay counter. |

Thanks to all suggesters for all the suggestions. Thanks Court as usual for your kind assistance. I like the suggestions for the BadWeB events calendar and to get rid of the number of pages column. Will add those to the list. |

Blake Thanks for putting up with us and providing an exceptional utility in our motorcycle life. I would like to see the directories that are at the top also on the bottom. example: (The Bad Weather Bikers' Buell Motorcycle Enthusiasts' Discussion Forum » Suggestions for a Better BadWeB™ ) This would make it quicker to review the posts. Thanks Joe |

Though of another enhancement: put a "back to top" button(?) at the bottom of the page. or this link: "The Bad Weather Bikers' Buell Motorcycle Enthusiasts' Discussion Forum" |

Joe, Interesting that you mention that as I have been experimenting with that very idea. I've recently added the "« Previous Next »" links to the bottom of archives pages, though the entire board will need to be regenerated to implement it fully on all existing pages. Will consider your suggest prior to doing that as doing both simultaneously will save much time and effort. Teeps, Try clicking on the "Topics" link at the bottom left of any page? Is that what you mean? |

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but is there an easy way to be notified by email if a post is made to a specific thread? I know how to do it through my profile, email settings, then find the thread and add it to my preferences, save, save, but I was wondering if there was a faster way? Like, if I post to an already existing thread, can you click and say something like "follow this thread" or "email alert for this thread" or something like that? Just curious. Sometimes I have trouble finding the thread I posted to if the subject has wandered from the original title. Not that THAT ever happens around here.

OK well I think I somewhat answered my own question. Does "replies to my own posts" mean my threads? Or anything I post to at all? |

You know, I'm not sure, probably any thread in which you post would be my guess though. |

Can we get rid of the outdated events at the top of the Storm Fronts page? Just thought it might clean it up a bit. |

I was scanning the archives and I noticed that there used to be avatars for users. Actually I think there were avatars here when I first joined. What happened to this feature? Does it use up to much space and/or bandwidth? |

How's about a "protagonist/antagonist" section ? basically a bitch board . when , as all too often happens , a heated discussion interupts a thread , wouldn't it be much easier to just say "take it to the bitch board " than trying to restrain the people involved and disrupt things even further ? within reason , a spirited heated "discussion " can be a healthy thing . and as long as it doesn't disrupt the flow of things and folks know that venturing there will know what to expect . just an idea . |
