Ted, Great suggestion. Will add that to the list. Thanks! Wolf, Didn't they tell you? We're a secret society. |

How about when you open up the clipart page it opens full size? I don't use it that often but when I do it irritates having to scroll up and down and left to right several times in such a small window. Ta, Rocket |

Yes, will add that to the list as well. In the mean time, after opening the clipart page in MSIE, try hitting the "F11" key on your PC. Not sure of the equivalent key for a Mac or other browsers. It's the full screen mode hot-key. Hit the "F11" key again to return the window back to its original size but make it adjustable. |

Now there are so many daily contributions, the 3-day suggestion on the search function can be changed to 1 day. Saves lots of time of the searching engine when somebody wants in fact only the last day messages, but pushed a couple of buttons without much care. Hans |

Damn Sean, thanks for asking that question! That's a thing that has bugged me for ages. In fact, it works with many other "windows" of the same type! Blake, you have no idea how much time that little tip is going to save me at work. How in the heck have I not known about that one. I've been doing Windoze since it first came out!!! Thanks! Brad |

I've come up with another idea that I think is rather good. It is however somewhat controversial. Even I have reservations about the greater implications, such as compulsory I.D cards and freedom of information, privacy, intrusion, etc etc. So I've given this some serious consideration and come to the conclusion that my 'boat race' is easily found on the world wide weberooney, it matters not. I also realise I can be hunted down by predatory humans, or just customers I've ripped off over the years. Even Bruce Lee could find me, so I'm not that inconspicuous even if I wished to be. But let's face it, this is the Internet, and when you've been around it long enough you are pretty much hidden from no one. So what am I getting at. It's simple really. BadWeB suffers from a type of alter-ego. On the one hand it is the face of us all. Buell fanatics, fans, owners, not so much a fan but got a Buell anyway, or just plain old pain in the arses like me that have been here for years. BadWeB is our face, and for many no doubt, a kind of home on the weberooney. So who is the other face in this weird alter-ego existence? Well, it's you and it's me, and the strange thing is, I know what the face of BadWeB looks like but I don't know what your face looks like MikeJ or Spiderman or Ft-b or Brucelee. So here's the thing. All regular BadWeBers, say those who have contributed more than 50 posts in one year, well we should introduce a pic of our face that sits next to our name in the sidebar. This way we make the BadWeB a much more sociable place where we get to know one another in a completely new and different for the Internet kind of way. This has to be a first for any discussion board on the web. Let's get to know one another rather than be just the voices with no face. With the exceptions to those who have to be anonymous, what have we to lose or are we not man enough to show our face and stand behind our words where anyone can see who we really are? I'm all for it. I want to see what my friends look like. 8 years is a long time not to know. Wanna start a discussion board revolution? We BadWeBers could be the first anywhere on the whole of the World Wide Web. What do you say? Rocket |

Sean, I think it is an outstanding idea! Except in RT's case! Do we really need to see his gloating evil oil man's face laughing at all us petrolheads every time we surf over to BadWeB? I've been contemplating some massive upgrades to the place here and your idea might just fit the bill. Here's one issue though. For those we've not met in person or seen in photos posted by others, we have no way of knowing/verifying whether or not folks are displaying their actual own personal portrait. |

I guess the best we can expect is to trust BadWeBers to do so. It might help if you explain the nature of reasoning behind it and ask BadWeBers to take it seriously. That said, I'm sure there will be those who object, but let's see if we can talk them around. After all, the last thing I'd want for my suggestion is it to become political. Politics amongst ourselves aren't needed really. This is about friendship, and cementing them with faces. Who knows, we could be the first forum to actually have a real face where what we say can be taken at face value. Rocket |

Okay, per Rocket's/Sean's request, here be me with a just this morning acquired parts bike for an in-process project that took a turn mid-project.
and just a little bit zoomed in, don't want to scare anyone off
and this is how parts bikes are usually found in Wisconsin, covered in snow and a few parts already taken:
The garage is unheated, so that snow will probably remain on the engine for awhile since I'm mainly interested in the forks. Best hurry up and set up the mug shot section of BadweB before this section becomes the portrait center. (hey, that F11 key does work pretty neat there) |

Rocket, I think it's a great idea. Maybe rather than clog up this thread, another can be started until a final determination cn be made. I'll have to hunt down a picture that won't scare folks away. If no one has started a thread, I will... Brad |

Blake, how about a BadWeb calendar so events can be posted on it to save folks from having to search for specific dates for planned upcoming events. Thanks. |

I know we have spell check on BadWeb which I love! BUT How about a grammer check? For those times you are typing up a post and it has the misplaced and or the or even double words. It is spelled correctly so you don't catch it right away but then you go back a few seconds later and realized you were too quick on the trigger. |
