I would like to know why my profile keeps getting deleted. This is the third time this year I have had to sign back up. Please tell me what the heck is going on. If you do not want me to participate please let. Me know! So I can Delete the Book mark. | ||

Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong when a sub-30K .jpg file won't upload, and the BB tells me that it is an illegal .bmp format? I'm using the same camera, same SW, same everything that got pictures uploaded before the profiles went poof, but now I can't get pictures to upload. I hate that "your image here" thing, makes me look dumb! I might be, but hate looking that way. :-) | ||

Al: I struggled with this issue for a long time. Wouldn't accept .jpg's or .gif's either one, and would always claim I was trying to upload a .bmp. Funny thing, though, it wouldn't work from home, but it would work from work. Both computers used the same version of Windows and Netscape. Anyhoo, I finally tried it from home, using Internet Exploder, and voila, I can upload. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Netscape but with no success. Yet the Netscape on my work computer uploads just fine. Weird. I have no idea if this applies to you or not, but I thought I'd throw it out there. Good luck, AW | ||

Thanks, Aaron! I'm using netscape at home, but have internet exploder on the computer as well (like you have a choice, HA!). So I'll try it using that, and also send the pictures to my account here at work and try there. Not very scientific, but hey, if it works,I won't argue with success. Al | ||

Hmmm...I have both IE 5 and Netscape 4.7 at home and both work just fine for uploading up to 45k files here. Do you have the newest version of Netscape? (i.e. 4.7) Vik |
