That happens when people post pictures that are too wide, otherwise the board software automatically keeps it a good size. It is a pain, I oughta fix it... |

Not a suggestion (and you probably are saying "then why is he posting it here then?" but a compliment (I haven't seen a compliment topic yet!) on how the new look is very refreshing and more "glossy" looking if you will. Very nice. Thanks....... |

It's actually spelled "raisin" and it's an old biker term. So if you have to ask, you wouldn't understand. |

wow, I'm thinkin we all need to go get drunk, laid, and ride out bikes -- ;-} mis-spelling is a hobby of mine (as many know) I have also raised the art of poor typing to heretofor unheardof levels it can also lead down interesting linguistic paths (as our firned Thang demonstrated) |

Blake, It's not always the width of a particular pic that makes the screen go extremely wide, it's when people upload several pics in a row and don't put a blank line between each of them that it happens. The blank line makes each pic appear one on top of the other instead of locked-in side by side. Is there any way of making the software at the server end put the blank line in automatically? |

Exhibit B: fixed by Blake by inserting character space after first two images. (Message edited by blake on March 08, 2005) |

A mere character space inserted between multiple pics will prevent the page from going over-wide. I attempted to to modify the code for the image uploading, and it worked, but also caused other problems, especially when someone would edit a post they had included images within. Pretty sure that Discusware is on the problem and will have it resolved with the next release of the BBS software. Until then, please inform offenders to put a character space between each uploaded or linked image. |
